Introduction
More than one million immigrants arrive in this country each year. In recent years, we have witnessed a lot of discrimination against immigrants, and this ignorance has led to a division between groups in America. The immigration wave has risen, and it has caused deportation to increase as well. Hate crime has also been acted on against immigrants creating opinions that prevent immigrants from having new opportunities that can improve their lives in America. Removing Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) from immigrants who are eligible to make a living in America is one of the downfalls of being an immigrant in the United States. Fortunately, DACA was permitted again in January of last year.
However, this is an example of how perceptions of people affect the lives of millions of immigrant families. Many of the reasons why people perceive immigration in a negative aspect are due to their level of Education. My partners and I decided to look at two variables, these two variables come in hand with what is happening in American right now. Immigration is an issue that everyone considers a "BIG" one in the U.S. This dependent variable relies on Education to form the discussions that There being viewed today. With Education being the Independent variable, it can help us understand how much and how less people in America are educated on the topic of "Immigration". We plan to address this issue by creating charts and statistics that can numerically differentiate between the two variables. After researching this topic, we hope to find the difference between the views of people based on the level of Education they endured.
The outcome can allow us to understand the similarities and differences between Education and immigration better. We hypothesis that people who have a higher education have better views on immigration. The topic on education and immigration matter today because the controversial of viewpoints that society holds against immigration due to the lack of Education which is primarily faulted on people who have a low level of understanding towards immigrant's disadvantages. The research will help us understand the views of immigration based on the standards of Education.
Bringing in the Third Variable
Immigrants come in both male and females. This is an indication that genders as a factor is very important and needs to be considered. The introduction of the third variable gender; therefore, in this, in this case, would have alterations of the bivariate results based on several things. First, in immigration, there is a need to look at the gender that is high as immigrants, and how do people from different gender perceive immigration. Nevertheless, if the variable does not have a direct effect, then there would be little effects or rather no effects at all. The perception that people have in immigration differ from one gender to another. Men are considered inconsiderate compared to women. On the other hand, women are sympathetic compared to men and thus, bring out the difference in the opinion based on the third variable introduced.
In making the conclusion based on the newly introduced variable, I would determine the relationship between gender and immigration compare how different gender view migration and effectively create an outcome. The inclusion of the third variable is statistically essential in that it helps in the provision of different views on immigration from genders perspective. Substantively, the variable was a significant on. Being that immigration is looked in terms of other factors, one of them being education, there are also different ways through which it is perceived from a gender perspective. With the variable in place, we will have to put in place two hypotheses. The one that addresses the connection between education and immigration and the one that depicts the relationship between gender and immigration.
