Nursing education has continued to emphasize the essentiality of critical thinking. Every nurse is expected to develop critical thinking skills as a clinical tradition that helps make crucial decisions. Critical thinking enhances nursing practice in several ways analyzed below; Firstly, essential thinking presupposes the application of rigorous standards of excellence. The stringent standards of excellence ensure that every nursing decision must have a proper mindful choice of their own. Another way in which critical thinking enhances nursing practice by challenging the nurses' native egoistic and societal influence using logic and abilities. Critical thinking also improves nursing practice through professional accountability and the provision of quality nursing care. Apart from critical thinking, there is therapeutic communication that also contributes to nursing practice in the following ways; It is through therapeutic communication that a practicing nurse can connect to their patient. Once a connection is created, the operating nurse can narrow down to every patient's individual needs, especially since every patient has unique needs. Through therapeutic communication, nurses can develop a culture of active listening, which enables them to pay attention and intelligently discern changes in patients' concerns that might compromise the potential of executing quality care (McPherson et al., 2016). More importantly, therapeutic communication enhances quality care through identifying an action plan that is socially acceptable and satisfying to the patients and the immediate family of the patient as part of the satisfactory resolution of healing the patient, all because of providing quality care. Another element that contributes to nursing practice is clinical decision-making skills. Clinical decision-making skills are central to professional nursing practice. Its contribution to nursing care is fundamental since it enhances individualized care. The nursing department in Toronto emphasized that clinical decision making improves the ability to identify problems and make a decision regarding personalized care. The presence of this decision enhances the quality of care required during nursing care.

Implementing interdisciplinary communication, technology, health equity, and health policy can be quite challenging in today's globalization era. However, the mentioned aspects have to be implemented to enhance patient quality care. As a nursing leader in a unit, the following ways are an essential means of achieving the identified globalization factors.

As a nursing unit leader, implementing professional communication and team collaboration would mean implementing an integrated coalesce approach towards nursing care. The coalesces joint effort involves negotiating a joint plan with all nurses while stressing on coming up with an integrated care approach on behalf of the patient. All the separate goals from each nurse within the unit are harmonized and combined into one treatment and care regimen. Quality of care through the explained approach is assured since communication is more accessible and cohesive.

The next element to implement in the unit is technology. The first step is to involve all the nursing stakeholders, including the management of the hospital. Having received approval from all these stakeholders, the critical technological changes that can improve quality care for the patient is electronic health records. Electronic health records and electronic medication administration records could be the most crucial phase of a nursing unit to implement the technology. Electronic health records contribute to quality care through ensuring patient records do not disappear. Electronic medical administration ensures that there is a reduction in error during the medication of patients. As explained, implementing technology promotes quality care among patients.

Another element is implementing health equity. As a principle, health equity is a commitment to ultimately eliminating health disparities within the nursing unit. To achieve health equity in a nursing unit as a leader, it is essential to advocate for social policies that view each of the nurses and the patients as equal. For nurses, a policy schedule will help implement equity (Serksnys et al., 2017). For patients in the unit adversely overlooking at their social conditions, impact positively on the implementation of health equity.

The last element to implement as a leader in the unit is health policy. A health care policy relates to financing, organization's culture, and delivery of care. To nurses, a health care policy determines the level of care that patients receive. To implement a health policy within the unit, the best method to use is a special package. A special package involves communicating to the unit members the system, training them on the policy, and placing forms of motivations on members who achieve the policies exceptionally well.

A tool that can be used in clinical nursing and leadership within the globalization era is anticipatory guidance. Anticipatory guidance is a nursing intervention used to prepare nurses, patients, and families for the developmental or situational crisis. Anticipatory guidance as a resource can be used to inform nurses, patients, and families about the disaster that is looming. When the team of three comes together to predict a nursing occurrence in the future, it improves quality care for the patient as each one of them has to come up with a coping strategy that will help evade the crisis. As a resource, anticipatory guidance improves health promotion by highlighting dilemmas and developing ways to curb those health crises before they occur. As a leadership and an advising strategy, anticipatory guidance is one of the best leadership nursing resources.

Clinical leadership unit varies in terms of the context. However, each leadership role's importance is that it contributes to the provision of safe and efficient care to patients. Leadership in a nursing unit ensures that administrative and management tasks are completed. In terms of taking care of the patient, they play a supervisory role to ensure other nurses pay 70% attention to patient duties (Abraham, & Scaria, 2017). Clinical leadership in a clinical facility has high set goals for them. These nursing leaders are expected to achieve issues that vary from the ethical behavior of other nurses, financial sustainability of the clinical facility, and community service provision. Lastly, patient assignments are allocated to take care of patients who need individualized attention. They supervise their medications and lead information dissemination to the patient's family.

Many nursing scholars and professionals have suggested that nurses participate a lot in community and profession, but rarely participate in legal and political issues. Community participation by nurses is implemented by organizing public health promotion to improve the health status of the public. Professionally, nurses' leaders have written a lot of literature that helps to teach nurses to gain experience in the nursing profession. To participate in legal issues, most nurses contribute to health policy implementation. Professional nurses have recommended policies to the legislature that have become some of the most significant nursing policies. Though most nurses are not involved in political activities, most have joined nursing professional organizations assumed to be pushing for political agendas.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this discussion analyzes different nursing factors as a profession, which sheds light on how the era of globalization has changed a lot of nursing perspectives. As a nursing leader, it is only essential to keep abreast of the global changes, as explained in the aspects above.
