Introduction
Body positivity was a movement created in the past to empower and shed light and size on women and men. It was used to challenge ways in which society presented and viewed the physical body appearance. The movement encourages all bodies' acceptance regardless of their physical ability, gender, race, size, or appearance. Body positivity is usually perceived as a celebration of physical appearance, but women are motivated to advocate the normalization of body hair and body fluids (Cohen, 2019).
History of Beauty
Beauty is a vast topic of discussion. It has its history from the 14th century, which was also known as the renaissance period. When we compare the beauty during this period, it is noted that it is not as glamorous today (Haney, 2020). Beauty during the past was a painful experience, and an example is when ladies would go through a lot of pain. To make a forehead appear higher, and also to enable them to look younger. Women and men in the 15th century had an attraction to blonde hair. The blonde's interest in the past has led to what is called today bleaching of the hair. In the past, women would be found sitting for hours in the hot sun while in crownless hats to achieve the blonde look.
Crownless Hats
The ancient Egyptian was used to date back the aspect of the beauty world. The Egyptians used to lead and copper in the creation of the world's first cosmetics. These cosmetics have been scientifically modified today (Haney, 2020). The modified cosmetics can be used for pore hiding, smoothness complexions, and many more beauty modifications. Makeup has been part of humankind for an extended period, and it has kept on advancing as technology expands.
Ancient Egyptian Make Up Versus Present Day Make Up
In the past, burnt matches were used by women to blacken their eyes, and berries were likewise used to stain their lips. Pee from little boys was used by women to improve their complexions. Numerous ladies in those days and even now accept they are insufficient without cosmetics. The present society has various sentiments about the entire circumstance. A few people trust that one is not delightful without makeup. Others trust that one should wear makeup if you need it, not because you need to.
Makeup these days can be sought after. It can likewise be very expensive. From excellent quality to the drugstore, either way, you will probably be spending quite some money on the makeup. One single item can go from one dollar to 200, relying upon the brand. It has been shown that most ladies will use fifteen thousand dollars on cosmetics in their lifetime. Furthermore, with how young ladies are beginning to wear cosmetics nowadays, it will not shock me that the fifteen thousand presently being used will rise higher and higher in the coming years (Haney, 2020).
Conclusion
Cosmetics can be fun and a hobby, yet a pricey one at that. Beauty scams can likewise be a significant issue in the realm of beauty. Counterfeit items are made each day and sold online as "Genuine products." When indeed they are only modest thump offs. In the world we have today, and how joined men and ladies are to items to keep us looking young, some may do whatever they can to get their hands on a product of their desire in a cheap way. Some of these clients are duped into buying fake products.
