However, the youths require nurturing and empowerment in order to achieve this prosperity. They require to be supported and encouraged in their daily life. Thus, several factors should be considered to ensure that the society is able to secure its future prosperity through the youths. First, the community has a responsibility of ensuring that the youths are psychologically empowered. In this case, they should be taught how to maintain high personal control, positively face life challenges and deeply understand the socio-political environment. In return, this would enhance their ability to access and control resources efficiently. Additionally, they gain the capability to influence decision-making at various levels by ensuring their voice are heard. Besides, this would influence their understanding of the dominant ideologies in the environment and consequently understand their own preferences (Community Science, 2013). This ensures they are aware of the side they need to stick on and they trust their personal abilities with confidence. Therefore, the community has a bigger role to play to ensure that the youths develop to people of integrity and accountability.

This helps them to contribute and maintain a sustainable development as a result of financial, property and assets support. Through quality education, youths are able to gain the necessary skills and tools to address problems facing them in their daily routine. Besides, these skills enable them to get meaningful jobs to support them.

Fighting poverty is a tremendous undertaking that requires supportive collaboration with other people. Thus, ensuring the youths create a strong connection with the other members in the community will help to strengthen their ties and the framework at which they do business. Moreover, the good relationships created are very beneficial to individuals, families and the community. In that, they are able to fight and overcome poverty as a whole. Furthermore, most people get jobs through networking and establishing strong and healthy relationships.

For the community to achieve this objective, it is important to consider several aspects. First, establishments of Community Based Organization that guide and mentors the youths. This ensures that the youths are supported in all aspect of life, either physically, mentally or psychologically and/or even financially. Also, the use of Non-Governmental Organizations to support youths may play a big role in ensuring the needs of the youth are well catered. This may be done through the establishment of educational facilities that equip the youths with the necessary skills. In addition, the intervention by the government to assist the youths in acquiring skills and resources can prove to be of great benefit.

In conclusion, youth empowerment is a very important aspect of ensuring the continuation and sustainability of a nation. Different forms of empowerment such as psychological, economic and educational are required to assist the youth to achieve their full potential.
