Introduction
Notably, different policies lead to a change in a lot of things. Fundamental among them is Jakobsen reading and also reading the thesis, which states that Trump is Good News for Allies and World Peace (Jakobsen, 2017). It is quite evident based on his unpredictive behaviour that most of the world leaders feel threatened by his status. Therefore the case that his presidency is positive for peace seems quite controversial. However, despite the different issues surrounding his statements and social media posts, political scientists and various scholars such as Jakobsen firmly believe that he will ensure peace globally. He will also strengthen the countries partnership with its Allies.
However, this is a result of different issues. Firstly, the majority of the countries, especially in NATO, feel secured as they believe that in the event a war erupts then they will be helped by the USA. And this is because they feel that their partnership with the USA makes them quite strongly and thus they are secure. Therefore they do not have any reason to use a lot of money funding their different security details. However, this is not the case as his predecessor Obama tried to tell the other NATO members to at least contribute 2 per cent of their GDP to no avail (Deudney & Ikenberry, 2018). Trump will, therefore, force them to maintain their security as they are not sure of his actions.
Secondly, his posts and most importantly, theatrics have set the tone on what the other countries are to expect. Therefore they have resulted in spending more money in the security sector, ensuring there can gain peace. His opponents also generate a lot of fear as they do not know what to expect from him as he is quite unpredictable (Petersson, 2018). And this creates a feeling that they have to consider all situations before provoking the USA. And his is because of Trump nature as he may respond in any way which the opponents had not anticipated. Thirdly, Trump, unlike his predecessors, is feared as he sometimes seems to use Machiavelli principles and schools of thought. With regards to the USA being a superpower, then it is quite imperative to note that he can do anything he deems fit for the countries interest (Petersson, 2018). Most of the former American president was entirely predictable and could not use power to signify the country's political strength.
Lastly, with the country experiencing stronger alliances as a result of their allies strengthening themselves with better weapons, they will be feared. And this is based on the assumption that with Trump aggressive nature most of the other world leaders will feel frightened and thus cannot take part in negative roles which will act in destabilizing peace (Payne, 2017). Therefore he will be able to play a significant role in ensuring there is peace. Also, his allies will understand effectively the enormous role that the USA plays in ensuring their peace and security. Hence, they will form a greater alliance.
Conclusion
All in all, superpowers play a key role globally in ensuring that there is peace. Hence it is essential to note that politics in those countries affect all the people internationally; therefore, must be handled with a lot of care. Such political seats are very demanding in governance and therefore require a lot of seriousness. Finally, for peace and stability to prevail, a lot of policies have to be developed and followed so that each country complies with what is regarded best for the people. Therefore, it is undeniable that Trump is essential for allies and global peace.
