Introduction
Quebec is a French-speaking democratic society governed by the rule of law and has developed as a result of its diversity. Moreover, the Quebec society states and its entire institutions are all but a minority group. The society is widely known for its warm welcoming of immigrants from the four corners of the globe with their culture, language; know-how, skills and religion (Coleman, 2014). The society provides the necessary services and assistance to help the immigrants participate and be integrated fully in the Quebec society. To be fully integrated into the Quebec society entails being conversant with the common values, to help the newcomers in the integration process, working alongside various institutions and offering information session in the French language, hence this society has a future in North America since they are trying to integrate many people in this culture and shaping their daily lives (Coleman, 2014).
Resistance to Assimilation
With the predicament of vast minority societies and culture Quebec has established itself as one of the communities resisting assimilation, hence making it one of the strongest distinct communities with a foreseeable future. The Quebecois as they are commonly referred to, have demonstrated numerous signs of success in North America. Over the past, driven by strong and changing ethnonationalist satisfaction, the society has managed to overcome colonial invasion in North America and has overturned more than 10 years of elimination from North America (Canada's) major network of economic and social progress. This is an indicative sign that the societies have a future in North America (Coleman, 2014). Moreover, society has overcome the challenges of inclusive socio-political and economic marginalization and has made tremendous progress intending past their cultural identity. However, society has been unsuccessful in some aspects like confirming their identity as a sovereign state due to lack of adequate strategy to reaffirm their national society aspiration. This does not mean the society is not progressing in other aspects. They are exercising quasi-absolute governance over a powerful territorial government with elaborate, jurisdiction, legal and administrative and policy-making processes hence making this society an organized and structured with future of further expansion, progress, and development in other aspects in North America (Coleman, 2014).
Cultural Progress and Identity
Besides, the Quebec society has influenced the socio-political atmosphere significantly. The society plays an integral role in upholding and maintaining togetherness of the Quebecois nation against what many Quebec nationalist view as continuous rolling and disposition of many citizens of North American states (Coleman, 2016). Among many achievements of the society, Quebec has emerged as true origin French-speakers of commerce influencers with an enhanced social and economic smack. The society artistic library and different scientific manifestos of their unique way of life have won Quebecois international admiration and acclaim both internally and externally beyond the francophone globe. Indeed the society has a future in North America since it has managed to develop and consolidate its influential culture in many parameters in North America. Undeniably, the significant rise and progress of the Quebec society entail little mark of unlawful oppression by the neighboring and ethnic cultural groups. The society tale is not all about genocide or victimization, oppression or dispossession. Contrary to other minority societies and cultures, Quebec has progressed due to the benefits it has accrued through their practice of inclusion and inclusion of a contemporary democratic system of governance. Democracy is a long fought battle which has led to many people losing their lives and their families becoming displaced, and everyone's desire is to live in a democratic society with no oppression nor dictatorship and the incorporation of democratic leadership kind of government, society has emerged as one of the minority societies in North America to be having a good future (Coleman, 2016).
Socio-Economic Domination in North America
In the context of the society demographic superiority, about 82% of its population has managed to play their responsibilities of welcoming the newcomers hence working in favor of the community. Nevertheless, Quebec records objectively had progressed compared to hardly 35 years ago when they were viewed as a simple inferior group. To a non-member of the society, Quebecois may at times be viewed as a society that has attained social and economic domination within the confine of North America (Coleman, 2016). Given its regional stability of superiority and its depth in historical affection to their society, they indeed have a future to influence more newcomers and grow into a bigger group.
In Canada, the apparent society hegemony is seen as an irritation which is mostly viewed by many people from other ethnic groups as harmful to their own communal and society self-realization. Has Quebec society attained a distinct status? In different ways, this query provides a dramatic relieve to the complexity of different cultural quandary in North America. To ask such as a question is like striking at the center of the concern of multiculturalism in part of North America. These are because it is evident from the society undertaking and governance that Quebec has a future and are on the course of expanding through helping immigrants in their reach and treating them as one through their democratic kind of governance (Coleman, 2016).
No other ethnic society in North America can refute that the tremendous socioeconomic and political, institutional transformation that has been associated with the group over the last 35 years were significantly intended to address the second class ranks, inequality and injustice. The transformation the society has undergone is a clear significant signal that they have future (Langlois, 1992). Moreover, this transformation was attributed by powerful multi- nationalist focus and true altruism of the members of the society besides taking complete governance of the destiny of the nation and exercising the lowliness which has enabled the society to have a robust combined thought of social-political behavior for a long time.
Quebec Quest for Development
In addition, the society has a future since it has been able to push for development strategies which will enable it to have a powerful, frontward-looking picture within the group itself which will it eventually enable it to have a sense of identity by claiming the land in which they can identify as theirs which will be integral for their future and self-development and progress (Langlois, 1992). The manifesto of the Quebec society has been clear and is a true representative of a minority class that has life in it. Its manifestos of self-focus expressed in political sovereignty perspective have lured many immigrants into becoming members of the society
English speakers and French speakers have been seen as victims in many circumstances. Implicit to this perspective, is the assertion that, both the French and English in North America should have an equal expression of opinion on how the government should be structured and governed. Similarly, the Quebec society through it democratic leadership has occasionally voiced out their need to participate in such process. For instance, Canadian federation forms part of Quebecois jurisdiction and have aspired to recognize a unique society class and have demanded sociopolitical inclusion and participation and treatment which is equal to those bestowed on the English-Canadian population and other countries of North America (Langlois, 1992).
Notably, the integration of many minority societies in North America particularly Canada as one official cultural state in 1960s was surely meant to pass a message to the Quebec society. They were recognized as an independent minority group that stood on its own besides existing for long without a divided loyalty. In the long run, this move recognized the essence of the Quebec society and the mandate to access important state services was bestowed on the society. Significantly, the official incorporation of most Countries of North America just like Canada introduced many multicultural policies that took force in 1980s which were meant to address the issues of minority societies and politics (Langlois, 1992). This is clear indicative that the Quebec society has an overall influence in North America and the society has to be considered in national and political concerns in North America.
North America is composed of many communities with distinct cultural identities and having different ethnocultural backgrounds like the Quebec society. The Quebecoise have all along cherished their difference and distinct identity making it stand out as one of the societies in North America that still have a future despite other minority societies merging and being disbanded due to lack of a strong stand. Moreover, the society has merged as one of the distinct groups having future since it has been able to live by its good democratic doctrines like having good respect for other making them be treated equally by the federal states by the end of the day (Coleman, 2014).
Moreover, the apparent humanism and the generosity of the society have made it have an outstanding approach which lies in its containment goal which is in line with the social-political and administrative aspiration. These have enabled the society to be compact and stand firm to avoid any form of assimilation because they do not want their cultural identity to be diminished hence Quebec has a communicated future in North America. Notably, Quebecois are part of North Americans, and they cannot assert to be the founding society of the continent nations nor claim special status and privileges within the continent. This information was mostly interpreted in different ways, and different perceptions emerged afterwards. The North American population especially those who do not form part of the Quebec speaking society, initiated an intense debate over the future and the constitutional future of countries in North America.
Various governmental attempts were put in place to try to accommodate some of the Quebec society minimal demands which were not successful since it was met by public reprobation. Subsequently, the governments of North America countries initiated different proposals including various constitution reforms which had a clear objective of appeasing the Quebec society historical demands. This is a clear indication that, Quebec has a future in North America and no other means or public frustration can stop society from developing and progressing (North American Spine Society Fourth Annual Meeting Quebec City, 2011). Various governments of North America continent achieved this objective by ensuring that the historical demands by this distinct society are met though, recognizing the special society character and adjusting the constitution to include the society special and distinct identity. Ideally, the constitution is a powerful tool of governance, and its citizens and the leaders should respect the constitution. Everyone is under the law, and since the constitution has already accommodated and has recognized the Quebec society, then there is no doubt that the society has a future in North America.
Conclusion
The Quebec society in North America indeed has a future. The society, though minor, has a strong socio-political and economic base and has stood firm to protect its cultural identity by overcoming the efforts of assimilation. The society is now on the crossroads of expanding and developing...
