Most organizations that have thrived well globally have developed a change friendly environment. The institutions have designed an inbuilt capacity to enhance transformation, connect the present and the future, and make learning part of life. Moreover, they encourage daily improvement and ensure that the team is composed of diverse individual that can promote maverick's shelter. The organization should also ensure the latest technology is implemented, and trust exists. To foster a change capable and innovative culture, the organization should make sure that a diverse team exists, ensure learning is a way of life, amalgamate new technology, and build trust relationships among workers to aid in change efforts( Mclagan, 2017).

Connecting the Present and the Future

To ensure that the organization embrace change, I would encourage workers to bring the future to the present work. Instead of workers perceiving the job as an extension of the past, they need to view the global trends, market share, competing firms, and viable opportunities that may be present in months and years and therefore factor them in current decision making. This can be achieved by having employees who can focus on the ongoing tasks and others who can implement future tasks. Hence present and future-oriented executives should be put in place ( Mclagan, 2017).

Ensuring That Learning Is A Way of Life

My goal is to ensure that all employees engage in in-depth research on various issues that can interfere with the growth of the organizations. Knowledge is becoming a progressively more fundamental source of competitive advantage. It should comprise of knowledge concerning the market and the outside world, what works and what is to be avoided, and places to find expertise and information. Institutions that research, spread, and have adequate knowledge can respond to innovation quickly. Pro change firms excel in knowledge progress and management (Mclagan, 2017).

Supports and Encouragement of Daily Improvements and Transformations

I would ensure that employees are supported in their daily improvements and quest for transformation. Although most organizations rely on big and planned strategies to enhance change, most changes occur at the local level. 77 percent of changes that happen at the workgroup level arise due to current challenges or suggestions recommended by someone from outside. Moreover, 68 percent of institutional transformation occurs in the course of day-to-day undertakings. Organizational changes do not happen over a one-time program but continue to improve consistently. Changes occur through relentless commitment to achieve excellence, which translates to advancement innovation (McLean, 2017).

Existence of Diverse Teams

Diversity is necessary for firms to change and innovation culture to be realized, I would ensure that at every given time, the executive management is altered. I would make sure that senior management is diverse in terms of experience, tenure, and time orientation. This ensures strategic change happens. Significant vital transformation takes place when the senior executive and his or her team have short but varying lengths of time on the job.

Encouraging Mavericks

For my organization to achieve change and innovation culture, I would employ mavericks. Mavericks refer to the people who are champions in devising new directions that promote the organizational change in the future. Mavericks assume the risks and perform early experimentation that the organization would not be able to offer financial investment. These people specialize in enhancing radical change, but not evolutionary change.

Sheltering Breakthroughs

Another way in which I would initiate capable change is by protecting breakthroughs in the organization. Usually, when a breakthrough occurs, they meet significant resistance, the resistance is so intense and consolidated that the best course of action may be to institute new organization to shelter and grow change. Change-friendly organizations have institutionalized different ways to offer such shelters.

Integrating Technology

Change in an organization can also be promoted by incorporating the latest technology. Technology is critical in an organization since it encourages transformational capacity. Information technology has positive impacts on the performance of the company and improves change and innovation culture. Lastly, technology enables the company to implement its strategies and strengthen their core competencies.

Building and Deepening Trust

Finally, one of the ways to enhance change and innovative culture is to ensure trust exists among workers. In my organization, I would ensure that there is a high level of trust among my workers. Change in an organization happens when the entire atmospheres within and outside the workplace have a sense of faith, and the formal leaders are credible. Therefore, executive management ought to have a high level of trust.

Conclusion

Change in an organization is very fundamental for an innovation culture to take place. Therefore it should be initiated by connecting the present and the future, making learning a way of life, supporting and encouraging daily improvements and transformation, and creating diverse teams. Furthermore, it is done by employing mavericks, sheltering breakthroughs, integrating technology, and lastly, building and deepening trust.
