According to the author, the description of the sociological theory involves social interaction in relationships. The relationships create a strong bond among the people. The author argues that the social bond created influences people to come together; therefore, rewarding them(Acker,1990).To have a rewarding social relationship where everyone is included, one has to very careful about how to impress people so that they can join your association(Acker,1990). The bonds can also lead to status differentiation between the people. For example, when the students fear to ask the lecturer a question to avoid what he would think about them.

The arguments show that gender inequality among women was there even in the past years. Women's absence in democratic research shows theoretical inequality. To end this issue of gender inequality in organizations, women have attempted to resolve the issues(Acker,1990). The social approach to gender inequality has helped to resolve these problems. The approach views the organization's gender perceptions as not neutral(Acker,1990).

To sum up, sociological theories show our engagement in daily activities as a human being. The arguments about this theory are about our living standards and how we associate with other people. Associating with other people gives us rewards since we are able to apply our knowledge together. It also prevents gender inequality. Organizations should adopt the strategies of working together in order to avoid the barriers associated with gender.
