Introduction
Since independence, our country has evolved through several forms of governments, a decade ago the worst kind of governing system took over the power. An individual making decisions and ruling the country with an iron fist has encouraged human rights violations. Only a few people have benefitted from a country that boasts of a favorable agricultural and business climate, mineral deposits, and hardworking citizens. After ousting the dictatorial regime, the country has an opportunity to restore democracy, end war, heal the nation, and grow the economy.
The country will have a three-arm government that will help in smooth service delivery. The nation will create and maintain law enforcement, energy, healthcare, and sound education systems. Improvising a national currency and safeguarding our national resources will ensure steady growth and development. Implementing a command economic system will guarantee a healthy supply of government resources and strengthen it. The nation will restore the culture of our society and uphold national to enhance national integration.
Building firm international relations and making good foreign policies will safeguard our national interests and enable trade with other countries. Our nation will apply for the membership of World health organization (WHO), United Nations and Security Council (UNSC), and the International monetary fund (IMF) to foster a fast-economic growth as well as combat terrorism (Cohen, 2017). If UNSC approves our membership, the attacks from our neighboring country will end. Our nation will mobilize the members of the UNSC, IMF, and WHO in helping us to become a member. Strengthening our law enforcement agencies and military will contain domestic security threats as well as protecting our borders. UNSC will also help in the negotiations of peacekeeping and ceasefire in our neighbor country.
The judiciary, legislature, and executive branches share different responsibilities. It simplifies the government's service delivery to its citizens in an efficient manner. The president heads the executive arm of government. The administrative department consists of the president, who is the head of state and commander in chief of the armed forces, the vice president, and cabinet members. The executive branch will administer laws the legislative arm of government creates (Harrison, 2015). The executive will nominate members of the judiciary who will be confirmed by the legislature. It is an independent branch, and it will allow the application of the law reasonably. The legislative arm will create or change the existing rules and regulations.
Developing police and military training institutions is the first step in guarding the public security welfare. The government will build its capacity in ensuring accountability and trust between the law enforcers and the public (Harrison, 2015). Education is vital to a country's development and in guaranteeing a prosperous future for the citizens. The state will expand quality early childhood education programs, recruit and train teachers, and encourage higher education saving plans (Cantir et al., 2016). It will guarantee a bright future for our children.
The government will implement the command economy system through building and managing of industries. It will ensure the strengthening of government resources, supply, and distribution of goods and services within the economy. Learning, reviving, and upholding ethical cultural and national values will ensure cohesion and national integration and reverse the effects of the previous poor leadership.
Joining the IMF will help our country secure its financial stability by facilitating mutual international trade, promoting employment which will ensure sustainable economic growth. World health organization will help in containing epidemics and other health emergencies response. UNSC, on the other hand, will help maintain peace and security beyond our borders (Muhumed et al., 2016). UNCS will also address terrorism threats and dispute resolution. Our nation will mobilize the UNSC members in seeking membership approval, and we intend to qualify for the support by maintaining peace. (Cohen, 2017). Since the country is a massive debt due to the corrupt leadership of the former regime, the IMF will help in reducing the debt burdens. We will adhere to the requirements and obey the IMF rules to qualify for membership approval.
The country will use a strategic approach through our foreign ministry and envoys in resolving the conflict with our neighbor. The government will seek mediation from a neutral state in a quest for a peaceful resolution. However, if it does not work, our nation will request UNSC and other countries of good will to intervene and assist in the conflict resolution. Among the roles we expect UNSC to play, is reducing arms and promote collaboration between our nation and our neighbor.
Despite previous mismanagement of our country's resources and affairs by the former regime, we are hoping for a quick reconciliation and healing process. Policies implementation and resources management will ensure a stable and steady economic growth. Finally, we hope our neighbor will cooperate for a peaceful resolution and terrorism threat elimination without any military intervention. Membership approval by the IMF and UNSC will enable our country to seek international aid that will help economic and political growth.
