As we group up the people and things surrounding us define what we do and how we live. We limit life to what we see and what the people we know have achieved and forget there is life beyond our surrounding and many opportunities to be explored yet. Sometimes people are contented in the life that family and friends introduced to them, and they work hard and succeed without studying much about life. However, the experience is diverse, and people have different ways of living. There is a need to rise from the small cocoons that we were raised in, explore life and chose for ourselves the life to live. Interacting with a different world helps realize how much we limit ourselves and how we are comfortable in small life we live and hence desire the challenges of a new life. Living a life beyond our comforts and people's expectations helps define our true identity, increase our self-confidence and allows growing and expanding ourselves. It also prepares us for a new challenge in life and helps us meet different people and learn how to relate with them. We can get out of our comfort zone if only we are ready to challenge what we know and be prepared to try new thing no matter how difficult they may seem to be.
Adam was a selfless man and during his visits to abroad was moved by simple requests made by children from a local place made by local. He focused on starting the promise of a pencil organization after a boy small boy in India requested for a pencil. His main aim was to construct a world-class organization with a vision to build schools across the world in developing countries. He participated in a competition to raise considerable funds to start building schools. Despite the organization not becoming first, he did not give up but used the little they got to build a few schools. He promised himself to work hard and raise money to create many more schools. He received funding and support from other people, and he gave up his job to commit himself to the cause. His decision was beyond what people expected, but he was contented because he knew he was impacting the lives of people. A pencil was something small that he would have given and forgotten, but he was burdened in his heart and realized there was something more than a pencil. He realized how much other people were suffering from poverty. He used a simple request of a pencil to impact people across the world.
Sometimes in people's lives, some things are not of value to them, and they believe it is like for everyone, but instead, they are of importance to those who lack them. People tend to give out things just for formality or because they don't need them. These things mean a lot to others, and there is need to know better and take the matter. By so doing people. will realize the weight of that simple thing and focus on not only helping the person but also making the simple things more significant and help many others with the same problem. It doesn't matter what you have done; what matters is the impact it has on others. This is a critical factor in promoting peace, unity and love in our nation, families, workplaces and churches.
Conclusion
People go on a journey for different reasons and expectations. The experience and destinations for the tour are also different. Thus, we have tourists and travellers. Tourists embark on a journey for recreation and enjoyment purposes. They visit the most known and secure places and tend to brag and show off to others. They do not have a feeling attachment for areas they are visiting and do not like involving themselves in the activities or culture. On the side, travellers are more interested in learning new things and culture of the place they visit. They are not limited to their plans or time but instead, they focus on the experiences they get in the foreign location. Sometimes they cause an impact during their interaction with the culture and there some attachments involved.
