Part 1
Human beings are naturally entitled to certain liberties that guarantee them fair living and survival. These liberties are such as justice and the right to voice one's concerns or even to worship. Liberty has a close connection with Equity and all systems across the world must work in such a way that they support for the existence of liberties and equities for individuals in Society (Fronteir, 2016). These Liberty's must work in such a way that they promote equitable division of resources that collectively belong to that particular Society. Rather, it should not be a scene whereby certain members of society seek to establish their own desire through our capitalistic lead form of governance. Rather, every member of society should feel that they have a role to play in the running of the issues that concern them and their lives.
The public policy aims at attaining the greatest good for the most members of our society and not individuals. Therefore, public policy should function in such a manner that the society as whole gains in a way that is equally among other members of the society rather than focusing on providing individual liberties to the general public (Fronteir, 2016). That way, public policy will be successful at attaining the goal that it is aimed for within Society. The conflict of interest in public policy promoting the existence of individuals that would like to promote their own agenda ahead of that of the public as a whole. In simple terms, this would be defined as corruption and it is an activity that should be discouraged entirely within the public space. Public policy is aimed at bettering the public and it should, therefore, seek to attain just that.
