People are responsible for making choices in their business surrounding every time. Accomplishing tasks for a company or an organization requires an individual to make decisions while following the ethical model or framework in the business environment (Evans & Hardy, 2017). Ethics in an organization shows the acceptable behavior that employees expected to follow. However, essential choices and good business ethics help organizations to select the opportunities in the market.
Social workers are affected by different ethical factors when making decisions in the business sector. Firstly, decision making in the ethical organization requires the business to identify specific ethical standards in an organization, that implies various things to different people (Levin & SchwartzTayri, 2017). Social works are affected by the hiring of new individuals in an organization. It is because the new social workers in the organization do not understand the ethical standards in an organization. Therefore, they end up making decisions that are not valid to the organization (Lane & Pritzker, 2018).
Also, social workers are affected by how individuals are affected by ethics. Social workers who have a difference in decision making are affected by the difference in ethics. Therefore, most of the businesses use the mission statement to build a framework that will ensure everyone in the organization, especially social workers make ethical business decisions (Evans & Hardy, 2017). However, social workers follow ethical standards in an organization to ensure that the needs of the individuals achieved.
Secondly, there are various types of ethics that social workers use to ensure that they make the required decisions. The examples of ethics in the social setting include utilitarian, rights, virtue, the common good, and right or justice (Evans & Hardy, 2017). Utilitarianism is the ethic that ensures the standards used in an organization trying to do the most good and reduce the extent of harm for each individual. It, therefore, the social workers have to make choices that best fit the good deeds. It is unethical for social workers to make choices that will harm one another. For instance, RM not attended. It is a decision that hurts an individual in the business setting (Levin & SchwartzTayri, 2017).
The right approach is there to protect and respect all the moral rights of people impacted by the decisions. In ethics, the decisions made should not harm the consumers or customers. Therefore, ethics protect all the decisions that are made by social workers (Evans & Hardy, 2017). While this is true, fairness or justice seeks to ensure that there is equality among all the people that the social worker attends. The main focus of social workers is to ensure that the lives of people in society are living a better life. Therefore, they are just in every activity they do. Especially in making decisions, the social worker ensures that the decisions focus on bettering society.
Nevertheless, the virtue tactic focuses on the ideal virtues required to promote individuals in an organization (Alston & Bowles, 2018). Social workers tasked with following different attributes and applying them to the organization to make the best decisions. For instance, social workers are supposed to be humble when handling people in society. It is essential since they are supposed to instruct them on the various important issues. Virtues are fundamental in an organization since they determine how different individuals make critical decisions.
Business ethics is an essential tool that managers and everyone in an organization use for various business situations. Managers, as well as other social workers, use ethics as their primary tools on how to deal with the community (Alston & Bowles, 2018). In the business setting, the managers need ethics to understand the fundamental roles of other employees and how they should interact with them. Social workers ensure that they deliver their services to the community so that the goals of the organization and the needs of the community are satisfied (Levin & SchwartzTayri, 2017).
While this is true, ethical decisions by the social workers attempt to promote the company as a whole and not just letting one social worker profit from the choices in the company (Lane & Pritzker, 2018). It is to means that individuals who make decisions on their demands may portray a bad image to the organization. Decisions are vital in an organization since they determine the success or failure of the organization.
Fourthly, coming up with ethics in an organization requires different considerations and other factors. Business ethical considerations do not happen at night but rather involves various discussions and consultations (Lane & Pritzker, 2018). Companies speed time and other resources such as money to train and promote business ethics among the employees and other prominent managers. Therefore, everyone in the organization is trained and equipped with all the required skills in an organization (Evans & Hardy, 2017).
Moreover, social workers are required to train other individuals in the community and the organization to adhere to the required standards. For instance, social workers ensure that individuals do not smoke in the society. It may be unethical to the organization since it may lead to drug abuse. Also, this shows a bad image of the organization to the community (Alston & Bowles, 2019). The negative feedbacks that the social worker acquires from the city ensures that the ethics are implemented effectively in the organization. The organization uses negative feedback as the primary considerations to change business ethics (Levin & SchwartzTayri, 2017).
Companies use social workers and other employees to educate the community and the employees on the basic needs in decision making. Social workers are equipped with the required skills and the best behaviors so that they pass them over to the other people (Lane & Pritzker, 2018). Through education, the social workers analyze the information (feedback) from other people or community and come up with better decisions.
The outside sources provide the objectives review that the social workers and the company require to revisit their operations. Therefore, they end up giving them the implementation of the robust ethical code to be used to communicate. Secure moral codes are essential; hence the social workers adhere to the needs of the consumers (O'Hare, 2020).
In their activities to help the clients to deal with problems in their environment, social workers have to make some choices. However, ethical decisions are only appreciated and ensure that the organization succeeds in every activity (Levin & SchwartzTayri, 2017). Their primary responsibility is to come up with the best practices that will instill the clients the ethical norms of an organization. Lastly, social workers make the organization ethics to be corrected accordingly. It is to mean; they enforce the different ethical issues in an organization and ensure that other social workers and also the clients adhere to those needs.

In conclusion, social workers are essential in an organization and play a vital role. They ensure that they serve the community with fairness, by getting feedback from the community on how to implement the ethical codes and educate other people on the moral laws. However, the organization succeeds because of the various roles played by social workers. Also, social workers ensure that the organization lives in happiness. The incorporation of ethics is therefore a significant aspect which should be implemented by social workers. It is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness with which they carry out their tasks.
