The Comparison between the Artists

Pablo Picasso and Vincent van Gogh had shared some significant similarities, and a distinctive painting style is an excellent example. They became generous in the world of art, and this is why their paintings could sell tens of millions of dollars. Even so, there are significant differences that arose. For instance, while Pablo Picasso focused and specialized in the use of colors in the painting, van Gogh specialized in oil painting. In this part, the two artists indicate diversity in the mediums they exploit in their works (Petrosino et al. 203). Also, while van Gogh was a colorist, Picasso focused on the value-based paintings.
