There are many cases of male assaults around the word that have never seen the light. Most cases of male sexual assaults go unreported or are taken lightly by the society or the authority when reported because of the perception that men are strong. There are very little talks to empower the male victims and there is also a way that the society looks at the victims making it hard for them to come out. When a male person is assaulted the community takes it's lightly and believes that a man can handle this situation alone. It becomes even worse because if a woman assaults a man the society ignores the case but takes very strong actions if the opposite happens. As a culture, ideas about male victimization should be centered because doing so would change the cultural conversations about masculinity and improve men's General relationship with women.

Many you tubers have done pranks and posted on YouTube about the reaction of the society when a man was assaulting a woman versus when a woman was assaulting a man. In the case for the woman being assaulted everybody became concerned and engaged themselves to stop the assault and even try to call the police but in the other case they just assumed and passed. This shows how society thinks that a man is masculine, he can't be assaulted or he can handle such situations by himself. They didn't seem to care or believe a woman could hurt or assault a man. There should be fair rules and the same handling of these cases and situations and make both genders feel safe and seek help and justice.

Sex education classes are an arguable topic and it has been categorized as a failure in most cases as it has not helped in solving many problems that it was supposed to. The sex education was implemented and being taught to children from the age of eight years in Canada but statistics show that it has not helped curb the problems affecting the target audience. The biggest problem about sex education is that it has majored too much on the girl child and the ladies problems that it has left the male gender out of it. The sexual education classes mostly talk about ways to prevent early teenage pregnancies and to take care of the body as a lady as well as how to handle rape cases. The boy child is told very less in these classes hence getting very little knowledge that these same cases can happen to them.

The sexual education classes should talk about power and gender and the aim should be to encourage sensual and generative health as well as looking out and fighting for the human rights of assaulted individuals. The process of achieving these is compromised because teachers choose to talk about matters that are just happening at the time such as love and have not included both genders effectively because most of the cases that are reported or advertised and the female cases so putting all the effort on that side. Male children don't know how to handle these cases when they happen to them because they are not taught about them in school. The boy child is taught to be a strong person from home, the community to the school and is taught nothing or less about sharing their problems.

In some communities, gay is an abomination and is rarely talked about. In most cases, boys are assaulted by elder male individuals. Research shows that in most cases of male assaults, it has been done by a person of the same gender. They are mostly people the assaulted know or were very close them. When teachers in this environment don't talk about these issues it leaves the innocent boys prone to predators without knowing the way forward. Boys should be taught to open up because they suffer a lot mentally and this affects their behavior and reduces some performance as well as having a new perspective on life. Most of these cases cause post-traumatic stress disorders which at times leads to cases of suicide.

The society has pinned men as the predators and never as assaulted which has made many organizations and the government to the only talk and protect the female victims. This situation has led to men fearing to come out to report cases of being assaulted as there are few that raise awareness about these cases. Sexual assault as always been seen as a shameful deed and people fear to come out. Men feel more ashamed than female gender because there have been fewer talks that support male victims. Due to a few cases being reported the new victims have no courage to report their cases and fear what the society will think of them. There should be lessons, organizations, and programs talking about the male assaults the same way they do about the female assaults to help them get help and come out which will also reduce the cases from happening. These will also make the male feel they have the same rights and same chances and they are supported which will improve their relationships.

The society has been viewing the male as the devious gender. This perception has always been very unfair as men too can be victimized by women. From a very tender age, girls were taught not to stay in places that are full of men and fewer women as they might be assaulted. The girl child has always been protected. Research has shown that most parents are so concerned about the whereabouts of the girl child as opposed to the opposite gender. Society has a viewpoint that the male gender can take care of themselves and nothing hard that they can't overcome and this has led to very many assaults. Men have a higher sexual desire that women but assault is done individually so the women too can take advantage of a situation so immorality should be generalized. These situation has led to more assaults of the male gender by the female gender and it goes unpunished or unreported because the society doesn't believe a woman to do such acts or behaviors.

Researchers have done statistics about the male sexual assault which have been noted that one out of every six males has been assaulted in their life as a child or in adulthood. These statistics might be even higher because there are unreported cases because most males think they are alone in those situations as they are not usually raised socially. The scientific research adds that these statistics are usually hard to believe even by the victims themselves. A research conducted by disease control centers in the United States of America and found that 16% of males were assaulted sexually before they reached the age of eighteen in 2005. In 2003 only 14% was assaulted before that age which means the cases are still on the rise. This research explains that the number of children that were sexually assaulted is the same as the males with prostate cancer which is the leading killer cancer in men.
