Introduction

Transformative Health System is a community-based health system that was developed in the Midwest United States. THS was created from the merger of two additional community hospitals include THS North, THS Specialty, and THS South (Deka et al., 2017). There are over 100 employed physicians, 12 medical malls, and five urgent care units in THS management. The THS organization is mandated to maintain the current market share in more than 120 miles radius served by THS and exploring the strategic partnerships in expanding sources of revenue and reducing clinical expenses. The THS also improves consumer access to IT services in investment services. The paper will analyze two mobile applications for both health system consumers and prescription providers such as physicians.

Section 1: Strategy and Mobile Application Development

The mobile application with an appropriate THS care 2U strategy should contain various departments that protect the customer's welfare in one dimension to the other. The mobile application includes patient to physician elements, physician to hospital encounters, and hospital and physician communication (Deka et al., 2017). The THS mobile application will contain both the patient and the hospital communication information that is mandated in assisting the consumers in accessing the health-related services. THS care 2U mobile applications include an effective office visit check-in, examination lab draws, hospital services requests, online order forums, pre-service instructions, patient-hospital check-in registrations, and appointment requests (Malisa et al., 2017). With the following applications, health care consumers will be able to effectively access mobile services without any challenge in healthcare. The mobile also will contain all the customer's records with a modern, updated system that effectively illustrates the mobile service's health system. The information of the following mobile application will be effectively accessible in the kiosks, patient portal, clinical inputs system, and activity monitors.

Consumers

The consumers who will effectively benefit from the mobile application below are the patients and physicians in the healthcare center. The mobile application contains hospital services; examination lab draws a patient's results, and communication between patient and physician (Malisa et al., 2017). With this significant component in the healthcare service, this makes this platform to be the right site for patients seeking health-related services.

The prescribing physicians that will effectively benefit from the following mobile application are the physicians. The physicians will be in a position to interact with the hospital and communicate physicians' and patients' connection and physicians' communication effectively. With the help of mobile applications, the physician's roles in the healthcare sector will be much more comfortable and effective.

Section 2: Mobile Requirements and Design Samples

The THS consumer mobile application has a variety of end-user functional requirements that assist in the regular operation of consumer services. The list of the end-user functions includes connectivity, applications, informational management, and integrations (Marforio et al., 2015). The following list of end-users helps in enhancing effective communication between the consumer and their suppliers in the market. The information is also readily accessible to all consumers without analyzing challenges.

The user screen prototype that reflects on the best practices in IT design for consumer mobile applications includes a feasibility prototype, rapid prototype, and horizontal prototypes (Marforio et al., 2015). A feasibility prototype is developed to determine the solutions of the consumers in the IT design. A horizontal prototype is the user interface in the form of a screenshot that demonstrates the human interface's outer layers. The rapid prototype is used as a natural product using the three-dimensional computer-aided design.

Section 3: System Architecture

Internal Administrative and Clinical Applications

The internal administrative and clinical applications that have been used in the THS case study include the ability to communicate (Ravindranath et al., 2014). Some of the activities include corporate network infrastructure, internet access infrastructure, cloud strategy, and internet access infrastructure. The following applications will be used in both the internal and clinical applications to the THS consumers and the prescribing providers.

External Application

The external applications on the consumer THS connectivity and prescribing mobile applications include network segmentation and routing, compliance management, and matters maintenance. The external applications play an active role in the management of the information delivered to customers and prescribing providers. The end-user, however, will be in position access and analyze their data without any challenge.
