The Industrial Revolution also catalyzed social change in the following ways. It led to a rapid increase in the urban population and the quick accumulation of material wealth that changed people’s lifestyles. People had to start traveling to workplaces in established factories with big machinery. People improved their skills and living standards too.

Without the industrial revolution, the economy of the United States will not be the same. In some way, the country will be far much behind if all that happened during this period were futile.

The three most significant events and personalities in my view that will have the most prolonged impact on our nation’s history include the American Revolution, the Second World War, and Franklin Roosevelt. An American revolutionary is an event that occurred between 1775 and 1783, whereby ideas from early civilizations such as Greece Rome were combined with the bible resulting in a revolution against every authority streamlining the solid foundation of America’s supremacy. World War II started on the 1939 September 1st and ended on 1945, September 2nd. It had a devastating impact on American history. The factories were retooled to support the war and potentially changing the unemployment rates with the resulting problems in the housing sector, becoming more devastating after the war. Roosevelt is vital in history due to his role in the post-war peace and the United Nations.
