The central question posed by the Europa 2013 movie is how far one would go in proving that we are not alone in the universe. The Europa 2013 movie is a hard science film fiction relating se explorer as well as the scientists who blast off for four years round trip on a rocket to Jupiter's moon Europa after a discovery that there is the existence of water on its surface (Kelly, p. 34). The scientists were more hopeful that with the water in it, there was a likelihood of life existence in another world.
The movie employs the time jumps to help in mystery crafting of everything that happened to the Europa one crew which was the ship well known as the advanced one-of-a-kind used by the travelers as they traveled to Jupiter. Basing on the movie storyline, it is revealed that there is an interference in terms of the communication which for the crew that had just left the earth re-established the communication with the ship as well as the earth receiving all the footage resulting from the missing time frame (Nila, 53). Therefore the Europa report is about filling the gaps of the missing time in the universe.
The Europa Report is a fantastic film with an amalgam of incidents that are very realistic in conjunction with some fictional elements that do not influence more of the movie realistic pieces. The damage of the communication array in the ship resulted in spacewalk and close attempt to ensure the array is fixed. Since the universe attaches more of significance to the practice of engineering, Europa report embraces this when the accident occurred while operating the ship. The accident while trying to have access to the damaged parts of the ship led to one engineering ripping his suit in the glove while covering the other with the substance which is toxic to the air.
Going hand in hand in writing is the direction in the Europa 2013 report. This is because there are instances of image glitches although the film which initially as a spark to negative feeling to the audience concerned, which is foreboding in this case (Kelly, p. 58). In relation to the universe, there are no parts of the film which feels rushed but rather feels purposeful, building characters and also building the story to the completely appropriate climax. The act of the film bouncing back and forth reduces confusion and hence enhances the connection of the real world to the characters.
The realism existing in the movie manufactures tension in the smallest of all the details. As a result of a small error, their landing crafts end up landing in a few hundred yards from their original drop zone in Europa. In real instances, there would be no big deal. But this is a hostile alien world where the few yards might resemble miles. The film is entirely based on the scientific knowledge of Europa, which is a big plus for the film. The film is presented as a retrospective assessment by the mission earth's controller. The best thing that was noted about the Europa report 2013 was that it was a low budget indie movie which unraveled a wonderful task. The humans traveling to space and landing on Europa, which is a moon in Jupiter is itself a reason to enjoy the movie. However, it is worth noting that the film employs a very realistic approach to reveal the complex space mission depicting the physical as well as the psychological strains on the astronauts.
