The Birth of a Nation is an epic about The American Civil War. At some point, it is seen showing signs of racism from which it's then condemned for. It illustrates the impacts the Civil war had on two families: The Stonemans of the North and Camerons of the South. There is an outbreak of war as Abraham Lincoln is assassinated, leading to chaos. The Birth of the Nation discourages racism on African Americans and advocates civil rights. We are able to see blacks being seen as evil and denied voting rights; male Africans are advocated lusting towards white women. KKK is seen as restoring order.

Voices of the peoples' history carries ideas and actions of the power of civil disobedience and also shows the true defiance spirit of the Nation. Hundreds of voices of people are seen in Voices of a peoples' history of the United States. It illustrates the struggle in the U.S from resisting the conquest of America in the era of Columbus through protests. The story is given of America on classes and race. It is based on making history reach out to people on all the struggles that ever existed.

The movie, 1492, we see Christopher being complex and humane. He treats Indians the same way as the Spanish noblemen. Colombus could not accept the fact that Europe was prevented from expanding to the new continent. Christopher Colombus dislikes the treatment of people as different as to him; he has the notion that nature is a deity.

The movie 1492, and books: The voices of a peoples' history and the birth of a Nation collaborate as the content each of them carries seems to agree altogether. All of these sources are advocating for equality and strongly stands up to defend the same.

In the Birth of a nation, we see racism as being discussed in the book. However, the book does not seem to support racism but in turn, disregards it. The book agrees that all people in America, both blacks and whites are equal: Blacks should not be seen as evil as they also are humans, and they also should have a right to vote. We see attempts to order restoration to ensure equality.

Voices of the people's history, on the other hand, also touches on the issue of classes and race. In it, it focuses on that the voices people should be heard, voices which advocate on unity rather than discrimination among the people (Zin and Arnov, 2004.) The book also seems to agree that all people regardless of being black or white are equal and all people, with all their voices coming together, be it people who are working, people of color and even those who may seem to have no power, once they can decide to come together creating even protests and also movements, them as one are subjected to a voice which is heard and which cannot be suppressed by any government, this seems to agree with the book; Birth of a Nation.

The movie 1491 is also not left out. It involves actions of brutality and violence. At some point, Christopher Colombus is accused of nepotism, where he's then replaced by de Bobadilla. Equality battle is also fought in 1492 as we see some instance where it is not advocated. Colombus is seen treating Indians the same as Spanish noblemen (Thompson, 2017.) The three in no doubt show collaboration with each other.
