Introduction
According to Caldwell and Peters, 2018), onboarding refers to the process of introducing a newly hired employee to the organization. It involves familiarizing a staff with the company's policies, culture, and the role of the employee. The company, through onboarding, creates a comfortable environment necessary for the employee to interact liberally with each other in the workplace and develop social relationships. Onboarding specifically entails getting the new employees to complete the required paperwork for labor law compliance and equipping them with all the tools they require to perform their jobs well (Caldwell & Peters, 2018). Therefore, it is through onboarding programs that employees discover various ways of meeting the organization's expectations in terms of attitude, skills, and communication style (Lalwani, 2020).
Information about Previous Position
What I discovered about my previous position that I wish in had known earlier before I accepted the job is the specificity of the profession concerning the technology I used. As a new employee, I was not informed that I would be restricted to a particular technology. I wish I knew this since the experience in that position was not beneficial ultimately. The lack of support and opportunities to change roles within the organization to other departments was also an issue. During recruitment, I was informed that the organization encourages and supports movement within the departments, however, I came to realize that it was impossible after attempting to switch positions for a long time. If I had known this in advance, I would have declined the job and searched for another one with better roles and internal opportunities.

- It is through onboarding programs that employees discover various ways to meet the organization's expectations.
Therefore, with knowledge of these benefits of the onboarding program, the CEO would be persuaded of investing in it, which would ensure it is comprehensively implemented and help employees enjoy their professions and workplace surrounding.
