Today, our health care organization is requiring the employees to work more hours and hence put more strain on the line that separates employee's personal life from work life. Especially for the married employees, these work commitments renders it difficult for them to spend vital time with their partners, children, and friends. Employees are increasingly becoming annoyed once they recognize that work is increasingly interfering with their personal lives. As outlined by numerous scholars, employees in an organization like ours are in favor of jobs that will be flexible enough such that they lead an enjoyable life as well as retain their works-something that is virtually non-existent nowadays (IEduNote.com, 2019). Work-life conflict on the fore now in the hospital is characterized by long working hours that hinder hospital employees from; leading high quality and healthy life, having more time to travel and share with friends, and furthering their education as well as their professional careers.

Secondly, the hospital management can make the work more flexible such that employees can manage their work lives and family lives to their liking (Boushey & Williams, 2010). Thirdly, the hospital should develop policies that are against any form of discrimination related to family responsibilities (Boushey & Williams, 2010). Lastly, the hospital should provide affordable and quality childcare to ensure that the employees who are breadwinners for their families are not distracted from optimal production due to family commitments (Boushey & Williams, 2010).
