Ramirez, who was born in the year 1949, also known as 'Carlos the Jackal' was a Spanish who turned up to a terrorist. He enrolled with the revolutionary training of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). He was one of the most notorious politicians of his time. At the age of 17, he went into the Venezuelan Communist party and was trained as a Fidel Castro's in the guerrilla camps (Richterova, 2018). He formed a lasting friendship with the Palestine commando in Moscow at a university he had his studies in. Carlos helped in the war with Palestine against King Hussein in Jordan. Moreover, he was one of the best guitar players and always made his mother happy. He trained on weapons in Jordan, and later the PFLP has ejected from Jordan. He started his first mission when he was sent to London.

Carlos was named as the super terrorist due do some of the characteristics he had in almost all the attack he committed. Every time he attacked, it was hard for the police agencies to catch him as he always had a plan. Carlos had also formed a strong terrorist group which he founded and that contributed to all the attacks he planned. He was still fond of holding hostages in most of the attacks which he used to get whatever he wanted. It was said that he received massive amounts of money which he said was paid by the Saudis on behalf of the Iranians he had held hostage during the OPEC attack (Hamm & Spaaij, 2017). It is a fact on the terror attacks caused by Carlos as they are all evident. From the view of the attacks caused by Carlos, I fear terrorism much.

Carlos caused a lot of attacks, but some of them were more crucial than other which include; he was the terrorist who was responsible for the attack in a Parisian restaurant which killed two people and injured others. He admitted that he was the terrorist who had planted a bomb in Hapoalim bank in London that failed. He also caused the death of three newspapermen who were Frances that he said were from the pro-Israeli propensities. Carlos rated contributed in two rocket-propelled grenade attacks that failed in Paris on the EL AL airlines at the Orly Airport in the year 1975.

In his second attacked he caused a seventeen hours gunfight with the police at the airport. At that time he had some hostages with him and the fight involved of the French interior police and hundreds of riot Police, but he was able to run away from the gunfight. Carlos also participated in the planning of the attack that faced the headquarters of Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in 1975 that happened in Vienna. This is where he led a team of six terrorists that attached a meeting that had been held by the OPEC leaders. In this attack, around 60 people had been taken a hostage, and three were killed. He demands a lot of money for the release of the hostages.

Carlos did not work alone but drew support from individual groups such as Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi and the Stasi from East German and was supported by a staff of other people. He built his Terrorist network, which he called Organization of the Armed Struggle (OAAS). This terrorist group attacked heavily with bombs like in France where they targeted the mayor. Moreover, other international attacks were planned by Carlos, which brought a lot of threat among the people.
