The International Football Association Board (IFAB) Law was complied with right from the beginning when the players entered the pitch. Firstly, the white field markings were visible, a continuous rectangular line, which included the touchlines and goal lines. A circle surrounds the center mark at the midpoint of the field, goal area, penalty, and corner areas are visible from the Livestream before the match commenced, which are all requirements of the IFAB law 01. Additionally, the players can be seen lining up at the center area of the pitch, where each team has eleven players, including the goalkeeper, according to the IFAB law 02 on the players. The player's necessary equipment includes the shirt, shorts, socks, shin guards, and footwear. The equipment, as mentioned earlier, must be of different colors to distinguish the players with ease. In this match, Busan I’Park team is wearing red sports kits while Daegu players are on blue ones (0:00 minute).

A whistle blow initiates the match kick-off in the center point and by the Referee Kim Dae-Yong, where Busan I’Park wins the toss of the coin and begins. The first throw-in is realized in the 0:15 minute, where it is awarded to Deagu. According to the IFAB law 15, the throw-in is assigned to the opponent player who last touched the ball when it crossed the touchline either on the ground or air. The law gives the procedure of making a throw-in where the thrower must face the field of play, one foot is on the touchline or outside the touchline, and throw the ball with both hands over the head. A goal cannot be considered from a direct throw-in, and if the ball enters the opponents' goal, a goal kick is awarded, and while ball enters the thrower's goal, a corner kick is awarded (IFA Law 99). Other throw-ins are given in 2:47, 28:47, 30:55 minutes,

In the match, fouls and misconduct are awarded both direct and indirect kicks as well as penalty kicks. In the 22:22 minutes foul and misconduct, an incident occurs when one Busan I’Park player confronts two Daegu players inappropriately, resulting in one of them falling. A direct kick is offered to Daegu on this matter. According to IFAB law 12, it is an offense to attack the opponent in a manner that seems to be careless, reckless, or excessive. The incidents occur when player charges, jumps, kicks, pushes, strikes, tackles, trips the opponent, and any attempt to do the above is considered an offense (81). Other fouls and misconducts occur in the 28:03, 30:12 minutes, and free kicks are awarded. Additionally, corner kicks are numerous in the match where according to the IFAB corner kick is awarded when a player kicks the ball, and it crosses the goal line. A penalty kick was given to Busan I’Park side in the 39:33 minute following one of their players who is seen to be tripped by Daegu's goalkeeper in the goal area. The player makes the penalty kick, and he scored neutralizing, and the score is at 1-1 as the players head for the half time break. It is essential to note that the IFAB Law allows a half time break that does not exceed 15 minutes. A corner kick is awarded in the 26:42 minute to Busan I’Park following a kick from one of the Daegu players crossing their goal line.

In the first half of the match, there are no cases of substitutions, and the players' heads to the half-time break. The IFAB in the recent past made temporary changes that allowed up to six substitutes in one match where only five can be made during the first 90’ minutes and one during the extra time. The first substitution is made by the Daegu team, where Dejan Damjanovic switches with Dae-won Kim in the 56’ minute. Also, in the 61' minute, Daegu's Jin-Hyun Lee is substituted by Tsubasa Nishi. Conversely, Busan I’Park makes substitutions in the 74', 76', and 90 minutes. Kwan Woo Park is replaced by Yong-Hyeon Kwon, Jin-kyu Kim by Hyeok Kyu Kwon, and Dostonbek Tursunov by Kyu Seong Lee, respectively. The last substitution is made by Daegu on the 90' minute when Sun-min Hwang substitutes Dong-Jin Kim. In this case, the game seems to follow the 2018 IFAB law, where a maximum of three substitutions was only allowed for each team. In the changes made, players are leaving the pitch by the nearest point on the touchline to prevent time wastage. Initially, the substituted players had to walk from one end of the pitch to the other to greet the incoming player.

In the match, four yellow cards are given to the players where Daegu team receives two; Jin Uh Jo in the 60’ minute and Sun-min Hwang in the 90’ minute. On the other hand, Busan I’Park team gets two yellow cards to players; Min Soo Kang and Mun-hwan Kim in the 50' and 88' minutes, respectively. There are no incidents where players are given red cards in this match. A yellow card is given the referee to caution a player on their code of conduct during the game and the referee notes on the small notebook. The player will continue playing in the game, but if they receive a second warning, they may be discontinued. In other words, this may mean that the player is given a red card. When a red card is given, the player will miss the next several matches.

Conclusion

In conclusion, IFAB provides for the law that guides the game at international levels. The law provides for the nature of the field, player's equipment, duration of the game, and guidelines on how the match should be played. In the case of infringements of any law, penal actions, including throw-ins, penalty, free, corner, and goal kicks, are given. Substitutions are made in case players are injured or are tired.
