The English colonies were free to rule themselves but follow the English rules as opposed to the French and Spanish colonies who acted as ambassadors to their countries. The French and Spanish colonies adopted an aristocratic form of leadership. Also, the English colonies were mostly non-catholic but were tolerant of the Protestants. On the other hand, the French and Spanish were strictly catholic and intolerant to Protestants. Also, the British colonies were more developed as compared to their counterparts. The difference in leadership and disagreements between the colonies was an advantage to the American Revolution. The colonies fought against each other hence made it easy for a revolution to be successful.
Answer to question 2
The progression movements had the most significant impact on the formation of the Arizona constitution. First, it leads to the adoption of the maximum citizen participation rule. This would allow participation through initiatives and referendum on legislation. Also, the actions and referendum could be used to recall all elected officials in the state. Therefore, this allowed citizens in the country to file a petition against a legislation procedure or an elected official. Another territorial issue that saw the formation of the constitution is the 1968 state government reorganization. This saw the powers of the governor strengthened.

Civic engagement has helped change gender issues in American society. The participation of women in several societal activities has increased due to the practical application of civic engagement. The pathways of change organization through its program on crosscutting gender research and coordination have helped women participate in several economic activities. Citizens utilize this program to enable them to achieve equity and inclusion. The society benefits through the introduction of women-friendly technologies, women participation in decision making and the provision of favorable agricultural policies.

The check and balances in the arms of the government ensure that no branch enjoys more power than the other. Each power given to a division of government is controlled and overseen by another arm. For instance, the president as the head of the executive is also the commander in chief of the armed forces, though he/she enjoys these powers, the legislative branch approves funds and votes to declare or decline war. Also, the legislative branch makes laws, but the judiciary can declare them unconstitutional. Through these checks and balances, the constitution makes sure that no branch of the government can use its powers to exploit the citizens hence protecting the liberty of the nation.
Answer to question 5
Waterways have both negative and positive impacts on the human system. The waterways provide water for irrigations in farms. Also, the waterways are used as transport routes to different locations along the water body. On the other hand, humans have polluted the waters hence impacting negatively on their systems. The negativity has occurred through garbage dumping, which causes pollution of the water and leading to diseases. Also, due to siltation, some waterways have become shallow hence making it impossible to navigate through.
Answer to question 6
The ecosystem of Arizona comprises of both low lying areas and high regions. The state houses four deserts. Due to the nature of the geographical formation of the country, most citizens live in urban centers. The rural areas are less developed. Most of its deserts are cold during winter and extremely hot during the summer. The nature of the climate makes its citizens consider living in the urban area.
