The Americans still perceived the blacks as slaves and of less value even after their deliberation. The black people have come together since and made it clear to talk of their skin color, the way they talk, and, most importantly, what they say. Before the 1960s, talking of the black or for the blacks was a sensitive and seldom topic of discussion. Racial unity has helped in a huge way to embrace blacks and also given freedom of expression. Be it in articles, speeches, journals, and even in published books. In a case, the journalist referred to, when a lawmaker Harford County, Maryland, apologizes to the Caucus for using a slur word to refer to them. The black community, in all means, anted to stand their grounds.

His speech reflects the black power in the black community, whereby with time, they are true to the fact that they are practicing gay just like the whites.
