The decision of President Harry Truman to unleash atomic bombs to Hiroshima and Nagasaki is the most heavily scrutinized. The reason that influences these atomic bombs being unleashed on the two cities was majorly influenced by political factors and not factors from the military sector (Kagan, 1995). The bombing was justified since the same as the other parts of the world the United State of America was soldering towards the ending of the dark period of the history of human beings that have been of big loss in terms of lives of people,so they decided to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki in order to adopt a stand that could in return reduce the number of casualties in that war period through the use of thermonuclear munitions.

The bombing of the two cities was a reasonable view for the United State of America to take since they had experienced a greater loss of human lives approximately 418 000 lives including citizen and army people. Hence the United State of America with the aim of reducing this number of deaths they decided to bomb Japan cities.

The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was used in order to cause extreme destruction to Japan. Few days after Nagasaki has bombed the speech of Emperor Gyukuon -hoso was aired to the public elaborating and expressing the state of Japanese of which they had decided to surrender.Through the use of the bomb on Japanese cities, it made the Japanese surrender faster which lead to a win-win situation between the two fighting nations (Selden & Selden, 2015). Atomic bomb leads to high devastation that made the Japanese feel that they have no option and reason to hold on to the war but to surrender to the United State thus giving US victory. The Japenese had refused to act accordingly by surrendering to post-dam Conference request and due to this US president Henry Truman felt so disheartened hence decided to use the bomb on the two cities.

The use of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki was used by the United State of America to put to an end World War II in the areas of the Pacific region. After the two cities were bombed on two days August 6 and 9, the following eve, Japenese made a request for the halting of the war. On 14 August Emperor Hirohito of Japan made an announcement to the citizens of Japan that they should surrender.

The use of the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a way to make the Japanese Emperor intervene since the Japanese had refused to surrender even after the dropping of the two bombs and Russian citizens made a declaration of war (Treat, 1996). Emperor Hirohito had earlier in a private seating talked to the prime minister Togo his desire to end the war but the Prime minister had refused but later came into agreement with the emperor. Emperor came into agreement that Japan should accept the Potsdam Declaration and surrender.

The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was in revenge for the Japanese brutality. The Japanese army had committed atrocities in Asia and Pacific regions. The military used to make other people sexual slaves, raping of women, killing of citizens also executed and tortured prisoners. The army went on riot killing citizens who had no weapons and had forceful sex children, men, and women. The united state of America under the leadership decided to use the bomb as a way of making this heartless army man pay with their lives (Stimson & Truman, 1947). The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was an equal match to the level of cruelty that the Japanese used I the time of war. Example American soldiers who went back home from the battling ground in the Pacific informed their people on how the sick Japanese army used to kill American doctors who were treating them after the battle through pulling the pin and killing the doctors together with themselves.

The other reason for the justification of the use of the bomb on the two cities was given justifications since it saved the lives of a lot of people. For instance, for the American army to go in the war it would cost almost one million lives. The expected number of expected casualties propelled President Harry Truman to develop and make use of the bomb in order to put the war on the end and save the lives of many armies and innocent civilians.

The justification of the use of the bomb is linked to its naturality as being part of the war.During the war, new advancements in technology and modified weapons are put into use and this weapon could include the use of bombs. For instance, during World War II, the act of bombing towns was a uniform scheme for both parties in the war. Lastly, the use of bombs on the towns of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was justified since the bombs were lead to the emergence of the Cold War (Blackett & Blackett, 1949). The European Theater of war eas ended, the prime Allied nations of the United States, Britain, and the Soviet Union met in several conferences to discuss on how to put to an end the war and overthrow Germany.

Conclusion

In conclusion, historians have given out several arguments concerning the atomic bombing of the two cities but this concept remains a matter of discussion. Many researchers are against the use of the bombs while others have made justifications for the use.The reasons for the justification of the use of the atomic bomb include that of saving lives of American army, was a quick way to end the World War II,it was a match towards the brutality that Japenese during I the time of war, it was a way to force the Japanese to surrender and lastly Japan had been earlier warned about the atomic bombing.
