Pneumonia is another critical issue affecting low-income Dominican mothers due to poor living standards.

Most of the Dominican single mothers in New York are associated with low education, which affects their ability to search for a better job. Hence, they are forced to work in poor standards, which subject them to other health issues such as pneumonia. Additionally, low income hinders the mothers from access quality health care, such as maternal services, thus subjecting them to other critical issues. As a way of improving health care, low incoming Dominican mothers are required to apply for Medicaid Insurance (Pintar Breen et al. 8). Medicaid Insurance is designed to assist low-income families. The establishment of the Affordable Care Act positively assisted low-income Dominican mothers as they granted the chance to purchase insurance to assist in accessing quality health care (Weisberg-Shapiro and Carol 10). Due to their condition, low-income Dominican women enjoy child benefits, such as school fees assistance. Additionally, the group enjoys welfare benefits packages inform of money and food to assist in raising the children (Sall 7). As a way of improving the living standards of the mothers, it is crucial to engage supportive resources such as food, cash, health service, and much more.

Intervention

Due to the challenge the low-income Dominican mother experiencing, they are required to be supplied with resources such as food, education, health care, better housing, and much more. These resources may assist the group to effectively overcome come of the health and social issues (Divjan 12). Proper intervention may assist in introducing some of the critical services that affect the attainment of quality health care.
