An ecological conscience is essential for the coexistence of man, other living organisms, and the environment. Having a conscience in this sense provides assurance or instead sparks a relationship between individuals taking care of nature and, in turn, nature taking care of us. The relationship with nature is almost directly proportional since the energy and investment you put in will equate to the returns you get or sometimes even better. For example, in planting trees, with more excellent vegetation coverage comes better air quality and long and efficient rainy seasons, which can naturally support agriculture. It has never been more critical for everyone to be ecologically conscious through the many years of human existence. With the rising global warming state, increased climate instability, and extinction of most species, it is time that every individual took their time to take care of nature once in a while. Therefore, we should start making choices that favor our environment daily if we want the background to sustain future generations.

Of all the living organisms on the planet, we interact with plant and animal life the most. These two creations' existence gives way to the survival of other living organisms that we cannot appreciate with the naked eye. The nature of human beings is to monetize everything as money is currently what is most important. This mentality has seen plants harvest to the point of deforestation with green environments turned into deserts, and plants that have served humanity for the longest time become extinct. The above outcomes are more reasons to raise awareness and get everyone to be ecologically conscious. As Leopold, Carson, Eiseley, and Goodal wrote, economic provocation is no longer a satisfactory excuse for unsocial land use. The point here is, greed aside, we need to engage in activities that better our vegetative environment moving forward. Stop deforestation, cultivate conserved land, buy wooden furniture, and use firewood or charcoal. Thus it is our responsibility to make sure that these harmful acts towards vegetation are reduced with each day, and that people are punished lawfully for overlooking measures put in place.

It is not enough to point out the damage done but even better to raise awareness on the way forward. Make it straightforward on what it entails to have an ecological conscience about the flora. To begin with, planting trees will help in recovering from deforestation. It is recommended that every individual plant a tree in a year, make it your responsibility to see it to maturity and make the world a better place. Other than that, moving to green architecture is also another way of ensuring a greener society. In this day and age, it should be possible for infrastructure and nature to co-exist, and more architects should maintain the plants in every place they build. The government also has a role to play in getting society to be more ecologically conscience by passing policies on land conservation and encouraging citizens to at least adopt a tree each. This sense of responsibility is what is needed to get the environment greener. For this reason, we should share the information we have on ecological conscience with others so we can achieve a greener society together.

Animal life has an outstanding contribution to our existence and has been flourishing quite well until the recent past. It takes an ecologically conscious person to be interested in the challenges and reasons leading to animal species extinction. With information on the challenges, it is easier to know where to start in making the world a better place for other nonhuman living organisms. Species are becoming extinct mainly because they are losing their habitats to human beings who are looking for more land to settle in. An increase in population and greed are critical contributors to this situation. In interaction with human beings, most species are used for food while others are killed out of fear. Poaching is also another cause of species extinction. With animals’ skin, meat, and other parts going for a fortune in the black market, there will always be greedy people who will not pass the opportunity. Ocean plastic pollution has also seen fish death by introducing high toxin levels that deplete the water's oxygen levels. Accordingly, our conscience and that of the people around us should be enough to guide our actions for other living organisms' benefit.

Having an ecological conscience generates actions that make fauna thrive on the planet. Electing leaders with an environmental conscience will see passing laws against the dumping of waste into water systems, which will save the lives of most Piscifauna. It is an excellent step towards conserving animal life, and so is passing laws against poaching of animals that are nearing extinction. Making the penalties for poaching harsh and quickly convicting individuals found guilty of poaching will help reduce poaching cases and conserve animal life. Achieving an ecological conscience society is key to preserving animal habitat maintenance. They can be talked into maximizing the available settlement areas before wanting to expand into wildlife habitats. Ecological conscience development will see the opening of more animal orphanages for endangered species and a more significant fight against animal extinction. Thus it is upon us to share the information we have on animal extinction and mobilize others towards conserving animals' lives.

As Jane Goodal writes, we need to find it in our hearts to look for solutions to our situation. Farmers cultivating land for over a decade and not caring to put soil conservation measures in place is a clear illustration of the lack of an ecological conscience. So is working in industries that emit harmful fumes into the air and doing nothing about it. In such a situation, the people working in the plant, from the subordinate staff to the major shareholder, are to blame as even a suggestion from the least significant individual can spark change for the better. Practices like littering, shopping with plastic grocery bags, bottles, packaging containers, and using fossil fuels for driving machinery are harmful to our environment. These practices have been the norm for decades but were only allowed because those generations did not have the information we have today on the adverse effects these products have on the environment. Choosing to use plastic bags with the knowledge that they take thousands of years to decompose takes away from us being ecologically conscious beings or even having a consciousness in the first place. Therefore, we need to be more mindful of our actions and always choose to do what is right for the environment.

Responsibility has to be taken for the environment, which is only achievable when individuals have an ecological conscience. Raising awareness of the importance of conserving the ground will help laws against industries emitting pollutant fumes into the air be passed. In this way, enterprises will slowly adapt to cleaner production. In the quest to fit in with the conventional way of thinking, they can establish departments that focus on ways the industry can positively impact the environment in their activities. An ecological conscience will see leaders elected that offer solutions to soil erosion to uneducated farmers and, in their budgets, include funds for implementing soil conservation measures. Farmers should not only look at the productivity of the land and the returns it brings them but should also focus on how to maintain fertility by choosing appropriate fertilizers. Educating citizens to have an ecological conscience will see a change in their decisions, including choosing to shop green and even integrate recycling to be a way of life. Hence an environmental conscience can be instilled from a young age by teaching responsibility this way; everyone can monitor their environmental wellness actions.

Conclusion

In conclusion, instilling an ecological conscience in every individual might seem far-fetched, but it is worth the work. We have to be willing to share information and create awareness of the importance of having an ecological conscience. Above all, have patience for those who may take time to align themselves with the concept. The point we need to pass across is that, with everyone developing an ecological conscience, we get to conserve our environment and ecosystems. In this way, leave behind better living conditions for the coming generations and make the best of everything nature offers us. First, we need to acknowledge that we would not exist without the flora and fauna as they are our source of food, medicine, oxygen, and water. Despite them being our livelihood source, we need to learn how to use them sparingly and ensure their restoration. Additionally, we need to know how to maintain an ecological balance between flora and fauna. This is because the flora provides oxygen for the fauna, and the fauna produces carbon dioxide that is essential to the flora for photosynthesis. Therefore, an ecological conscience is vital in us making fair use of our environment and giving back.
