Introduction
The court system involves five court systems with an administrator being the head. I got employed as an assistant administrator to aid in identifying issues and strengthening the court system. Throughout the time that I have spent in the court administration, there are a lot of issues that employees spread as rumors. The rumors in a court administration system are very critical since it hampers the justice of the citizens. The process of hiring an employee is exceptional for the County Human Resource Division. The employment of employees is exceptional to the court system since it involves people of different tasks that tend to be employed in the County administration. The core issues in the administration of the five courts are on management and poor communications between the staff. The issues of mismanagement tend to come with problems of corruption and delay of court trials and proceedings. All the court rulings and trials should be fastened to disallow delays that bring about corruption and lack of trust by the public. The court system remains one of the trusted administrations in the land, and therefore it should be careful in the way it treats its citizens and issues. Notably, as the new assistant court administrator, I am concerned with treating issues and explaining the issues that affect employees to the top management for amicable solutions to be reached easily. Management of the court system and employee morale and motivation remains critical aspects for the achievement of justice to be realized. The other problem in the court administration is on having a higher rate of turnover that tends to lower down the work procedures. All the challenges remained to be looked at keenly to avoid other arising problems that may hamper the justice system. The aspects of fairness, loyalty, justice, and trust remain objectives of the court systems to amend for better delivery of services to all citizens with minimal discrimination.
The first issue that should be addressed promptly is the mismanagement bound within the administration. All the top-level management should coordinate and have meetings that generate ideas on how to fasten the court rulings. The bulk number of cases in the court presents high risk on the handling of issues and thus creating a lack of trust in the courts by the people of that particular nation. The control of human resources remain very vital, and it should be done with steps that are of help to aid in boosting the other systems to run smoothly. All the virtues should be followed for the control of the courts to be effective and thus foster management.
The second issue is on employee morale, which makes the management to be a bigger issue that cannot be solved easily. Employee morale remains to be a problem that the court administration should solve from the upper echelon to minimize the high turnover. The employees in any given court system play a vital role in the control and management of resources. The morale of employees lowers down based on poor communication between the top and lower echelons of the court administration. The secretaries are found in the lower echelon, and the employers in the top management can improve on employee relationships to aid in boosting employee morale. Issues of lower payments and lack of workplace leadership tend to bring issues of poor connection of employees. For the solving of employee morale issues, there should be a provision of workplace leadership (Tag-Eldeen, Barakat, & Dar, 2017). Workplace leadership boosts morale and also makes employees feel part and parcel of the organization and work tirelessly. Employers are the ones that should empower the employees on assigning some roles for effective management of the court system. A court system is a large unit that needs people to work together and harmonize on various implications. The poor communication system between the employees in the court bring about poor relation that tends to hinder with morale that therefore slower systems. The management style of the administrative court should be adjusted to help gap all issues amicably. The delayed court rulings and being many makes the trials to be weakened and thus creating a lot of drifts.
The problem of high turnover can be solved through the employer having to make some policies that are of help to the employee. The court administration in the County should hire the right people for the different professions to improve on job satisfaction and turnover. High turnover is caused by issues of lack of right employees being hired and thus tend to lower the production of services to the people. There should be an offering of competitive benefits and pay, and employees should be compensated well. All the employees should be compensated with suitable benefits and pay for more gathering of information to be illuminated for better illustration to be captured. The employees that work in the court should be given praise by the employer through recognition and encouragement. The holding of meetings should be done to praise the employees that have done good and given out information on addressing issues in the court administration. There should also be the allowance of flexible working schedules to help reduce issues of tiresome and bore down. The solving of high turnover should be showed by employer depicting the career path for the employees to have direction with minimal lamentations.
The techniques that should be employed to gap the issues of communication in the court administration for the creation of a harmonious environment to gap work problems. The first step to improve communications is by creating a communication friendly space that is suitable for all people and keeping connection constant at all times. The communication should be done using face to face for a better generation of ideas and avoidance of false information. The meetings should be held weekly to create good communication links and get the right information for better management of court proceedings. Also, the body language of employees should be monitored and mastered for the information to be well apprehended. All information that is being disseminated should be filtered well for better improvement of court rulings (Freeman, & Reece 2019). Communication should be done to increase communication services, thus creating a harmonious ground for all employees and employers. The court administration should offer a platform that is anonymous for getting feedback for communication taking place between the employees. The other strategy for fostering communication is on checking on the progress of staff daily to identify any problems they may be undergoing for solving at earlier stages. The last strategy should be on assessing the current communication strategy used internally for its effectiveness to be realized.
The method that can be used for the clearing of backlogs of cases in courts is through increasing clearance rates in the courts. There should be increased judicial reforms and an upscale efficiency in judicial cases. The people should be treated well for better handling of cases and thus reducing issues of backlog cases in the courts. All people remain to depend on courts for justice to be administered, and thus the backlog of cases should be dealt with for purposes of efficiency of the court system.
Conclusion
Summarily, communication, and employee morale should be raised for better information to be shared. All people should be treated well in the court systems and thus creating efficient ways for treating of people effectively. Communication systems remain the basis for getting the backlog of cases being reduced and thus making more judicial proceedings dealt with promptly.
