He further made numerous list which helps in the transition of the 2001 iPods into iPads in 2010 (Earnshaw, 2017). Jobs ensured that Apple dominates all the smartphone markets and opened up several commerce stores for iTunes in the world's largest market cap.

Merits of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs contributions to the History of Computers

The founder of Microsoft led to massive changes in the world through charity and technology. According to Yoffie & Cusumano (2015), Gates brought his computing knowledge to the masses regardless of their areas of specialisation and fields of operations (Yoffie & Cusumano, 2015). Similarly, as Apple was almost collapsing with the good computing and internet services which were exemplary, Bill Gates infused a lot of money from Microsoft to support the developer of Apple and other significant smartphones such as iPod, iPhone or the iPad which are liked by many to date. Notably, Bill Gates created Microsoft Office and Windows which are regarded as the most useful programs used by people around the world today. The programs are used in both personal or business computers to improve efficiency in most working stations.

On the other hand, Steve Jobs also became very important in the history of computers due to his contribution to the establishment of Apple Computers Company. The machines are to date ordinary and have led to significant transformations like computing due to high data transmission rates and efficiency. The innovation of language in computers was ones of the most recognised changes that Bill Gates and Steve attained from greats such as Grace Hopper and Alan Turing.
