Christians hold true to the promises of Jesus that Christ that he will send them the Holy Spirit to guide them throughout their daily doings and to direct their ethics and morality in the society. The Christianity faith, therefore, is strongly founded on the premise that every act of wrongdoing is a direct insult to the Holy Spirit (Sheldrake, 2013). The strong Christianity belief in religion and ethics is thus embedded on the strong observation on the self-conscience and awareness; the very thing that controls the very aspect of that which defines humanity.

The postmodernism relativism issues in healthcare provision are a subject that must be discussed by all stakeholders in good measure. The postmodern relativism in the healthcare provision, therefore, has been misconstrued to take into aspect a number of factors that fail to consider the principality of healthcare provision (Sheldrake, 2013). For instance, whereas the Christianity understanding of ethics is the consciousness that drives the wrong and right with accountability to the Holy Spirit, the postmodernism relativism in healthcare has generally failed to observe such aspects and leaves the room for the healthcare providers to exploit and expand it to what a healthcare provider feels is right. In most cases, these feelings are wrong and as such misguided decisions, particularly with respect to accountability.

Understanding scientism

Scientism is simply defined as the characteristics and the traits of scientists. There is a wide belief that scientism has had a very huge impact on the Western culture, it is even worse to mention that scientism has been on the rise and spreading quite fast across the surface of the globe. Scientism has broken ranks and gone ahead to suggest that most of the things observed are developed by scientists. The pro-scientism hold the strong belief that science dictates all aspects of life in totality (Stenmark, 2017). At the same time, it is not utterly true to construe such factors as have been realized that the scientist has developed into a cult where the religion followers comprising majorly of scientists worship scientific rituals and the eventual outcomes.

Much as there are a number of pro-scientism propagators, the opposition against it has also been rising due to a number of factors. The first argument is premised on the fact that scientism arises from the vague manipulation that it subjects its believers into believing and trusting on a sort of non-existence which surpasses the modernism tag. The believers in scientism are seen as confused lot without principality bearing. They are confused with endless contradictions from the scientific findings, particularly due to the different results that they get from the conduction of different experiments.

The second reason as to why the scientism is widely opposed is the fact that it fails to recognize and provide and tangible back up to the Gnostic culture which have been widely applied in reality. Scientism dwells on a number of moral relativism that fails to hold waters in the principle living (Stenmark, 2017). The moral relativism related to the scientism follows its set of rules which it tends to judge everyone else by.

The purpose of my existence, therefore, is not for my personal gain but to continue God's work through helping others, spreading the Gospel of Christ as well as being an example to be emulated by the society, thus granting society the serenity to remember indeed who God is. This is possible by not turning my back against humanity.
