First, they are significantly used in The Engine Knock Sensors. Currently, the engine manufacturers are constantly on the facing challenges which are seen to be related to the control of the engine parameters. In most cases, under the wrong circumstances, it is usually found that gasoline engines are considered to be susceptible to what is known to be undesirable phenomenon commonly referred to as detonation. At the time that the detonations are occurring, in most cases, the air or the fuel which normally explodes instead of them burning quite smoothly. When this occurs it has the potential of damaging the engine. For this to be prevented therefore there is the use of Engine Knock Sensors. This is significantly used to give the control systems as to make any required adjustments

The second application is The Pressure Sensors. The use of piezoelectric pressures tends to be yielding more results when they are used in the pressure sensors. This is majorly attributed to the fact that most of the piezoelectric device has high-frequency responses and the aspect of signal conversion that normally occurs without necessarily requiring any bellows, diagram or any type of given mechanical linkage that is connected with the strain gage or the aspect of the displacement sensor.

Third, they have been significantly been used in The Diesel Fuel Injectors. Over the last decade, most of the regulators which are seen on the emissions from the diesel engines have been costly to become stringent. Also, most of the customers are today demanding for more quitter engines which are having improved power and also tongue curves. So as to adequately meet some of these demands, most of the manufacturers have today resorted to the using precisely efficiently timed and mattered injections. Some have resorted to the use of fuel during the combustion process.

The fourth application is seen in The Fast Response Solenoids; it is in most cases noted that there is some process that tends to require precise and quick mechanical actuation which in most cases quite difficult to achieve with the use of electromagnetic solenoids. As much as the issue of speed could not be necessary a concern, power consumption has in the most case remain to be a priority. In light of this, there is, therefore, that great need to apply piezoelectricity actuators. They are significantly used since they are able to provide for a more fast response provide for low power consumption.

The fifth application is found in the Ultrasonic Cleaning; according to Placzek (2015), it is commonly noted that piezoelectric actuators are commonly used for ultrasonic cleaning. They are significantly used in cleaning objects which are immersed in the solvent. It has been over the time used to clean some of the objects which could be having inaccessible surfaces.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the evolution of the piezoelectricity is significantly changing the industrial world. One of the advantages which has been over the time brought by the use is the fact that the overall expansion of the can be controlled precisely as long as the overall voltage is also significantly controlled.
