McGiveron's proposes the use of both mirror and nature imagery to express dystopia in the characters and the entire society. He pinpoints the flaws in a community by engraving the depiction of fire and isolates Montag's perverse act of burning down structures and books without revealing any remorse until later in the narrative. The incredible representation is that the author ultimately captures the people's disposition to dystopia while also explaining the obstruction to knowledge and creativity aspects and its significance to humanity. This work is intended to empower the society to distinguish the use of imagery in narratives. Moreover, it is one of the best pieces of writing since it dissects Fahrenheit 451 and its interpretation into the real world.
Atasoy, Emrah. (2015). Impediment to Knowledge and Imagination in Ray Bradbury's Dystopian Novel, Fahrenheit 451. Ankara Universitesi Dil Ve Tarih-Cografya Fakultesi Dergisi, 55(1), pp.399-414. http://dtcfdergisi.ankara.edu.tr/index.php/dtcf/article/view/601/217
Atasoy's work demonstrates the oppressive mechanisms of a totalitarian state that hinders its people from accessing knowledge while secluding individuals with divergent views. The writer succeeds in illustrating the dystopia where a fireman curbs the dissemination of information and the development of creativity " through burning books" instead of extinguishing the fire (Atasoy 400). More so, the author successfully illuminates on the hostility of the leaders by highlighting on the repressive developments during the sociopolitical era of the world wars. Subsequently, the writer intends to capture the interest of modern-day citizens by improving their curiosity on the occurrences within their nation and enhance them to rebel the state-backed brutal tactics. Besides, the work is intended for readers seeking a different understanding of the hidden themes discussed in the novel. Unlike a majority of other articles, this editorial holds a high rank due to its keen focus on a subject that readers would rarely grasp.Fernanda, uisa Feneja. Promethean Rebellion in Ray Bradbury's "Fahrenheit 451": The Protagonist's Quest. Amaltea: Revista De Mitocritica, pp.4(0), 1-20, 2012. http://revistas.ucm.es/index.php/AMAL/article/view/40586/38905
This piece enlightens on the Prometheus myth which serves to determine the narrative of utopian developments in a dystopian setting. This work initially diverts from the original book and highlights on the social criticism in a hypothetical world before reverting to the imaginative fiction in the real domain. The author revisits the strange contented role of the fireman burning books stating, "... the future setting, as a short description of Montag's daily routine, follows and hits at the novel's diegesis" (Fernanda 6). The writer devotes this article to readers that may face difficulties in perceiving the real meaning of the novel. However, the book utilizes a challenging approach to illustrate the central theme captured in Fahrenheit 451 in relation to other literary work.

In this study, McGiveron discerns a persona's goodwill through observing their hand imagery thus identifying a character's conscience. The author clarifies the dystopia in the novel by describing the contentment in the character Montag, "how his hands burn with the longing to destroy, and how his conscience is clear of any guilt" (McGiveron 177) McGiveron's work is mainly targeted for readers incapable of appreciating the value of gestures. Nonetheless, the book does not surpass other of its class in clarifying the consequences of non-conformity.
