Introduction
Some laws of the state are more lenient and welcoming to nurses than others. Nurses have resorted to having their private practice and seeking the services of physicians were required to conform to the law. The advantages of this move include being at liberty to decide how the training runs and what is the scope of the training and also the freedom to choose one's employees and how the proceeds from the practice are to be shared. The practice, though, is not without some challenges. For instance, there are problems in obtaining a license and getting a collaborative physician. Other barriers include getting the cost of starting the practice and obtaining the malpractice permit.
The nurse practitioner can choose between four structures of business, which include sole proprietorship, corporation, limited liability company, or partnership. The nurse practitioner must also come with a business plan that governs how their business is regulated. To that effect, nurse practitioners need to come up with ways on how to avoid and overcome the challenges in their practice if they are to remain successful. The strategies include publicizing the nurse practitioner practice, insist on clarity on all times, and spread the word to the public how effective person to person practice is, among other things (Jun, et al. 2016).
That the hardest thing in the current world is to get people to accept change and embrace the transformative practices that come with modernity, that communication technology has created new boundaries that nurses need to overcome to have an unbeaten career run, another important lesson is that people need to accept fluidity is common in the modern world, and thus they need to be well versed to conquer in the medicine world. Nurse practitioners need to shift from the old way of performing tasks based on the requires processes and do they based on obtaining the right results.
Nurses also need to lead in the change process and be at par with the changing technological trends. In embracing the changes, they will be able to get the best from their nurse practice and help their patients effectively.
Implementation of the Things Learned
The lessons learned and acquired above are insightful and will surely help one in the future. From the knowledge gained, I would use it better my nurse practice after getting into practice ownership. Among the needs, I will implement the use of technological advancements for the betterment of service delivery. I will also implement the strategies stated above on nurses practicing to escape the barriers to practice ownership that may arise in the future. The important thing is getting people to adapt to the changing trends, which makes work easier for nurse practice (Barnes, 2015).
Vision of the Future
In ten years' time, I see myself as a successful family nurse practitioner in primary care practice specialized primary care practice. My vision of the future is to provide adequate quality and unfailing service to people of all status in life towards the betterment of their health cycles. I will come up with my own practice and have physicians to help me deliver my goal and objectives for starting the practice. Together with the lessons acquired from the case in this study, I will promise and deliver the best in terms of health.
