Introduction
Looking at the current Organizational Chart, name two responsibilities for each position that relate to compliance to avoid penalty regarding the HAC "falls and trauma" policy. In other words, how will each person on the Chart participate in assuring compliance? The following are obvious possible answers but others are possible. If the answer given is logical and supported, count it.

- Chief Information Officer
- Chief Human Resource Officer
Chief Compliance and Quality Officer Chief Operating Officer Again, looking at the organizational chart, and assuming nobody new can be hired quickly enough to oversee this project, who should be put in charge of the overall initiative? Why? What critical supervisory functions will that person perform?
The most suitable person that the organization could put in charge of the overall initiative is the Chief Compliance and Quality Officer. The chief compliance and quality officer would be chosen since they are responsible for overseeing the regulatory requirements of the company and ensuring that employees follow with all the internal policies and procedures. Since the officer is conversant with compliance issues, they would be fit to ensure that the hospital staff complied with the HAC rules. The critical supervisory roles that the chief compliance and quality officer would perform is ensuring that patient injuries from accidental falls and trauma reduce drastically during treatment (About the ACA, 2017). The officer would also oversee that the medical team follows policies regarding the proper handling of patients so that no injuries occur. The necessary precautions by medical practitioners must be taken to avoid injuries like dislocations, fractures, burns, and electric shock, among others (About the ACA, 2017).
Name two types of data or analysis that are essential to defining a baseline against which your organization will be able to measure progress. (You need not gather information; just identify what kind is needed and tell where it can be found). What is a realistic performance measure/goal going forward?
To give the Board an idea of what the system will need to do, outline what you think the first three steps should be in preparing for compliance. These may later be altered but you are anticipating what the overseer you've identified in #3 above will do early in the process.
Looking ahead and given the multidisciplinary nature of your Task Force, list five potential barriers that compliance may precipitate and suggest ways of countering these.
One of the barriers in compliance is the lack of knowledge regarding HAC rules and policies from the top leadership. This barrier would be overcome by educating senior leaders and the management team about the HAC rules and the consequences of non-compliance (Plaras, Cates, Sammons, & Bezpalko, 2019). Secondly, compliance may not be included in the organizational culture. The compliance officer must ensure that these policies are a priority in the healthcare center. Thirdly, lack of proactivity is a significant barrier. Healthcare organizations must be up to date with the changing regulatory environment to determine if there are changes to be made (Plaras et al., 2019). Fourthly, there may be the lack of a plan when things go wrong during treatment. A proper team should be deployed to respond to any unfortunate events. Lastly, not informing all caregivers that they are responsible for compliance is a significant setback. All employees should make sure that they are in compliance with the HAC policies and other regulations.
