The valued diversions of social interactions and the outdoor activities were found not to impact by the TV programs. There was the introduction of the programs for the children, but the other parents left their children to be salvaged through watching wrestling (Fields 2016).
Television violence exposes the children to the learning and imitating of the behaviors as the individuals were rewarded for their aggressive actions. Many of the scholars and psychologists have found that children exposed to violence viewing tend to develop violent behaviors to the other children while at school and playing at their homesteads. The television shows promote the racial and gender stereotypes and thus offering the young viewers to be distorted on how the world works and different individuals behave. The professionals from healthcare also believe the children who tend to use more periods in watching videos and television games tend o have fewer periods for physical activities. America's obesity epidemic is blamed at the combinations of the fast-food adverts that pose the issue of lack of a balanced diet (Padilla-Walker et al. 2015).
