Introduction
Young Women`s Christian Association is a Christian organization that is aimed at influencing the social, intellectual, moral, and spiritual traits of young women in the world. The program is symbolized by a triangle that symbolizes body, mind, and spirit. YWCA was established in 1855 first in England when two institutions came together in aid of women. These two groups split in a way that one of the groups formed Christian homes for young women, and the other created a prayer body for women (Encyclopedia Britannica, 2019). These two groups merged into one and assumed the name Young Women`s Christian Association in the year 1877. The association started to operate under a constitution in 1884. In the years, small groups with the same goals began to form. In the USA, a group of young women was meeting in New York City. In the early 1990s, a lot of these groups were created, and the organization was nationalized in 1906. The organization`s main activities were helping young women and girls improve their standards of living and claim their place in society. Other services offered by YWCA were summer camps, recreation activities, and academic programs in disregard of their economic, religious, and racial backgrounds of the attending parties. Below is a case study discussing the integration of the YWCA museum online exhibit.
Online museums are a business that started in the late 1990s. In most cases, these museums are aimed at spreading the gospel and provide an easy way of understanding the word of God. Some of the existing online museums deal with bible questions and answers, online bibles, art galleries, history records, and online Christian magazines. The YWCA should form a marketing body whose responsibility will be creating awareness of its existence and all activities in place. The body should major in using social networks to invites friends into the organization by sending them articles published by the organization. The materials can contain links that will direct the users to the organization`s website.
The website should, therefore, contain useful information to the audience like start a question and answer or bible exposition programs where the audience can ask any Bible question and get an instant answer. The website can also allow for a log in rights where any interested member can create an account where they can post any related matter to the organization. This website can also have an art gallery where maybe the history of the bible is explained, or a book chapter of the bible is illustrated in picture form. In the case of social media accounts, for example, a twitter handle, the organization should put in place a management group of experts who will be responsible for any information being posted on the page. These accounts and websites can be open to everyone willing to view as this will increase the popularity of the organization. The topics in discussion on this page would be for example, what should be done to increase the number of users of the page, how to improve the services of the organization, in which parts of the world should the organization put more emphasis on, which new programs should be introduced in the organization, what changes to be made in the constitution for a better governance, what to be included in the organization`s website and many others.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the YWCA online museum is a brilliant idea which when put into place under proper management. If the organization employs a bible exposition program on the website, it can increase its popularity and gain more followers as many people are looking for answers for their many unanswered questions concerning the gospel and the bible. The website users can as well be granted rights to post their views on the website so that the communications board can forward them to the administration and changes made where deemed necessary.
