Russia has a long-standing history of their collusion in election sabotage interfering with the cyber-security to engineer their preferred presidential candidate in the United States and beyond. Special counsel Robert Mueller has had critical investigations into the alleged conspiracy of the then 2016 presidential candidate, Donald Trump and Russian operatives in the obstruction of justice in the Presidential election. According to Swaine and Bennets (2018), a 37 paged indictment by Mueller's investigations alleged communication between Russian operatives and unwitting individuals key in the Trump campaign. Thus, this paper will describe the underlying position given by the President and primary Bureaucracy actors in light of the indictments.
The Congress as the primary Bureaucracy has actively engaged in the probe on the allegation of the collusion between Russia and Donald Trump's presidential campaign. The Senate and house select committee on intelligence spent hours assessing the report that concluded Putin's intention to support Trump's candidature, and they are cautious to reach the credibility of the allegations. The democrat and republican wings of the Congress strongly condemns the obstruction of American justice in free and fair presidential election calling on criminal law experts to dig to the bottom of these allegations (Norris & Kenney, 2017). However, President Trump and Russian president Vladimir Putin have repeatedly condemned the claims in their most forceful terms possible saying that they are illusionary lies and witch hunt.
The position held by the justice department and the FBI define that collusion is not necessarily a federal crime especially in the absence of antitrust law, though the allegations are of criminal interest. Both the Justice Department and the FBI regard the assertion to fall under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) where the obstruction of justice evokes special counsel investigation leading to targeting unrelated contacts on the criminality of the activities warranting action. The reluctance of this justice administration agencies in engaging directly with the conspiracies proving the collusion as actually an act of criminality and obstruction of justice for the Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and the American public (Swaine & Bennetts, 2018).
In the investigation by Mueller thirteen Russian nationals and three organizations allegedly meddled in the 2016 presidential election in the United States through fraud and deceit. The conspiracy surrounded by critical opportunistic politicians, intelligence officers, criminals, oligarchs hindering in-depth digging into the allegations (Prokop, 2017).. The inducement from Mueller's month's lengthy investigations state-federal prosecutions of the complicated connection between the primary Trump campaign agents and the Russian operatives to put outside plea bargains. Categorization of the conspiracy into federal criminality will increase the chances of administering justice to the American voters whose real desire and voice in the administration of democracy hang in the balance of the truth of the conspiracy. Though primary bureaucracy systems play a significant role in condemning the Trump campaign collusion with the Russians to deny Americans their democratic rights, the tag of war between the democrat and republican divides widen with the wake of the facts on the criminality of the conspiracy allegations.
Other relevant actors contributing to the unearthing truth on the allegations point direct link of Donald Trump Junior's participation with the Russian collusion together with the then Trump campaign manager George Papadopoulos (Miller, Jaffe & Rucker, 2017). Information from credible sources like the United States forensic analysis, CIA, and ODNI point figures on Vladimir Putin for personally conspiring to control the 2016 presidential election through social media propaganda and other covert operations in favor of the Trump candidature undermining Clinton's bid for the high-rank office.
