High profile child abuse is a perennial disaster perpetrating injustice harm to juveniles. For this writing, I choose to watch the video on the high profile child abuse following the allegations brought to trial in 2011 against the Penn State legendary football-assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky. The hearing has taken eighteen months and the grand jury in Harrisburg are evaluating the forty-eight allegations of boy-child molestation. Gerald Arthur Sandusky, the accused real name was born on January 26th, 1944 in Washington Pennsylvania. He worked as an assistant coach for 32 years in the Penn State football and retired owing to accusations on unlawful contact with minors, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal intent to commit juvenile assault, and endangering child welfare among others. In the video, the recounts of the multiple cases facing Sandusky show that the assistant couch perpetrated sexual abuse against teenage boys ever since the 1970s. The cases have remained unparsed due to his high profile position and the blind eye by the relevant authority like his head coach, Joe Paterno, and university president, Graham Spanier, to act on the allegation by the affected children. The jury's verdict finds Sandusky guilty of forty-five of the forty-eight accusations against him and faces life imprisonment.

According to the evidence presented in the case shows that child abuse in the society, especially in educational institutions, is perpetrated by high profile personalities and left unchallenged. Children are subjected to sexual harassment by the people entrusted to their care and due to the position they hold in the society of institution children's accusations receive a deaf ear. In the case accusing Sandusky of juvenile assault unearths that he was reported to have sexually harassed teenage boys from the 1970s, after thirty years is when one person gets bond enough to bring this perennial assault to legal books. After resigning from the football club, Sandusky established a foundation "The Second Mile" a foster home for teenage boys whom he is also accused of molesting. This turn of events shows that high profile threat of child abuse has wider avenues to execute the molest and child abuse activities due to the societal ignorance on the hypocritical benefits offered by the perpetrators. Therefore, minors fall into the hands of pedophiles without anyone giving much attention to the injustices perpetrated to the minors in silence. Children are scared or threatened to speak when sexual assault is inflicted on them due to their vulnerability state in relations to the culprit. This case also brings to the light interesting legal position of sexual abuse victims who turned eighteen years before filing complaints.
