In the political perspective created by the Simpsons series, there are so many things that are jokingly used towards the real-life American politics. Comparing Homer and the current American president, Homer would make a better president than the current American president. This can be seen in the way he is using his powers to take control and rule his small family in the series. In the series, the writer is using and showing the negative and unflattering lights of the leadership. To the current American president, these make a common background of his leadership positions. To Homer, he is concerned about controlling all that is taking place in his government, and even the controls all the working members (‎Groening). To the current American president, he has failed in ensuring that he is taking the full responsibilities over all the American workers. And this negligence has, in a way, lead to the failure in the leadership positions in the Simpsons political system. Therefore Homer if given the opportunity to be the American president, he would be the best president because of his authoritative powers over all the workers.

The political system in the Simpsons series is full of the corrupt leaders. The ministers and all political leaders in the series take their leadership positions to benefit themselves from the people they are leading. In so many ways, leaders are shown to overuse their positions by corrupting so that they can benefit. For instance, Rev. Lovejoy, as a minister dismissive over some of the church-going members. In other words, the political system in the Simpsons family series is a government that is full of corrupt leaders in their leadership positions. Compared to the American leaders, not all of the political leaders are corrupt. The president is discouraging corrupt leaders. Some are fighting against being corrupt, and in any way, there is a political leader identified misusing his or her political powers for personal gain, it considered to break the laws. And the president may take a serious action of punishing their behavior (‎Groening). Homer president is seen as encouraging and highly contributing to the corrupt leadership. He, therefore, can make to be the best American president over the current president in the American community.

In the Simpsons political system, he uses effective campaigning strategies which makes him better to the contemporary current American president. For instance, Homer argues that children are considered to as the future, and therefore it is today or current time to prevent them from getting into the future. He is aware that when children have a better future, they may overturn his political leadership positions which he finds it to be good to prevent them from getting into their future. This is opposite to what the American president is doing in his leadership. He is encouraging children to achieve all that they want so that they can have a better future. Homer is killing the dreams of so many children by ensuring that they are not motivated or encouraged to have a better tomorrow but rather discouraging them (‎Groening). Comparing Simpson president and the contemporary American leader, the Homer president makes a better president than the current American president.

Homer is identified in encouraging the “phobia” marriage towards his people. Homosexuality is a key theme shown in the Simpson series. To the current American population, homosexuality is not highly shown. To the Simpson president Homer, he is identified kissing with the Karl. The series has several recorded incidences showing the homosexuality acts among the used characters in the series. Opposite to what the current American president is doing. Even if there could be some homosexuality activities taking place, they are easily identified because the president does not publically showing or encouraging it. There are passed laws and regulations that are limiting the homosexuality activities in the American governance system. In the Simpsons series for instance, in the series, Bart and some of the family members are identified to enjoy the tour with John, who was a gay (‎Groening). Bart wears woman’s shirts and wigs dancing to the disco. This makes Homer to identify him as a gay. According to the current American p0resident, he is not identified to enjoy any of the gay acts and does not encourage homosexuality. Homer makes to be the best candidate for the American president for his campaigning platform he was using. While comparing Homer and the current American president Donald, he that is Homer is considered to be the best president of America. He is satirically used to represent the American leader. And while compared in the American leadership, he is better to the contemporary American current president.

In general, Homer represents a failing government. To the current American president he has in so many ways contributed to the development of the American population and those around the state. He does not advocate for the poor leadership strategies as compared to the Simpson president. In his campaign, he promises to bring changes in if he is voted as the president. In the series, the theme of politics is highly identified. Themes found in the Simpson series on politics represents the contemporary American politics. In the Simpson, the leadership takes place in a family set which represents the American political system. It is therefore very ironical to compare Homer the Simpson president with the American contemporary political president. This is because the series does not fight for the liberation of all the American people, but it has been highly joked and tampered with. Homer Simpson represents a failed governance, and therefore it is very ironical to compare it with the American current political system in the contemporary world.
