In the opening sentences of the article, David pointed out how the police were initially brought in to existence to control the crowds during the strikes and riots that happened in England and the USA respectively, and also when there were threats about the introduction of slavery in the south in the US and England. He wrote that the crimes initially were solved by the authority by asking a witness who did a particular crime in question

David went further to explain that before 19th C, there was no need for police in towns because there was a sense of social equality. People would pass judgments to the one who committed a crime, and the courts would promulgate the sentence. As capitalism grew, there were a lot of changes in society. A lot of products were produced in the market, and owners of the lands became refugees in their towns. The rich people continue to oppress the weak and poor people, sometimes using the army to shoot those who were rebelling. In conclusion, the origin of the police was not for good causes, but the oppression of the poor population, including slaves and farm workers. David's work explains, there are still cases of police brutality in the street. Whenever there is protest, the police always get involved in oppressing the protestors rather than peacefully controlling them.

The article Necropolitic was written by the Achille Mbembe and translated by Lubby Meintejes was published by the Duke University Press.

Achille Mbembe describes how social power, as well as political power, was used to dictate and oppress the weak people in society by the use of life and death. He explains that Necropolitics was more exposing well people to die and others to live by giving those threats and rules.

Furthermore, Achille explains that Necropolitics used the right to sentence someone either to civil or social death. Also, some rights make other people slaves and subject them to all kinds of political violence, including police brutality and punishment. He describes in-depth the cases and consequences of inequality, military oppression, the enmity between states, racial enmity, and terror attacks imposed on people. He also explains how the racist and political forces were so focused on killing and chose not to kill others.

The author further explains that the theory of Necropolitics relates to that of the walking dead, whereby one can be killed or sentenced to death anytime. Achille explains the rule further by the use of slavery across Europe, and Palestinian colonization and also the bomber who was wearing a suicide bomb at the open places where there was a large social gathering. He used these examples to show how various forms of necro power over the political state force the citizens to live a life with fear, and always take precautions when visiting the social places.

In conclusion, Achille brought an understanding of Necropotics rules and effects on the social behavior of the people and how what was supposed to be a democracy has impacted people's social lives.
