Introduction

Navarre beach is one of nature's most beautiful and peaceful sceneries on the planet. Its pristine white shoreline is twelve miles long and is located between the Navarre Beach County Park and the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The white course sand never fails to be a minefield of corals and pastels, with a collection of other multicolored seashells as well as the beautiful mound sand of white silk. The clear vast ocean that glistens in the sun as it meets the horizon, the breeze of the waters, fresh air, fine white sand and the beautiful nature of Navarre beach makes it an astonishing place.

The taste of salt is as strong as a light mist of ocean water flows along with the warm breeze, leaving a sticky, salty film across the skin. There isn't a trace of seaweed in the crystal-clear water as it glistens in the sunlight. The crashing of the waves can be heard from the background of the sandy bank. In the forefront of the water, there are small fish that seem to almost blend in with the sand as they lie and wait to peck against people's feet and legs. In the background of the ocean, dolphins jump with the cyan blue waves only a few feet away from the first sand bar. While in the ocean's edge, young children's laughter fills the air as they frolic and splash in the warm salty water. The oceans forefront is covered in pieces of colorful, prickly seashells and sand dollars. Each wave that comes by strews multiple of the seashells and sand dollars onto the sandy bank.

During the summer, the hot rays from the sun radiate down onto the sandy bank, causing it to become a warm course blanket. Young couples are usually hand in hand along the water's edge where the sand is moist from the waves that crashed against it and then descended back to the ocean. People scatter on their towels and some on their beach chairs beside their rainbow-colored umbrellas and coolers.

The sound of favorite pop and country music blaring is intertwined as everyone tries to listen to their music while lying out on the beach. Some women and men choose to use tanning lotion while on the beach causing a faint smell of coconut to linger in the air across the bank. In the background of the sandy bank where it isn't as crowded, a family who decided to share their food with seagulls is now being bombarded by them.

The vast, clear crystalline blue sky isn't tainted in the slightest by a single cloud as it goes on to meet the vast ocean at the horizon. Squawking of seagulls can be heard as they gracefully soar in the middle of the sky, high above the sandy bank and beach. The sun's ray's stream down mercilessly to the earth below it since there isn't a single cloud blocking it in all its bright, smoldering glory. The ocean mist filled wind is always there as a relief; however, the wind almost acts as a squab against the blistering sun during the summer at the beach. The wind also seems to engulf the seaside, carrying all the smells and sounds of laughter along the coastline.

Navarre beach is indeed a great place to help in releasing stress and unwinding life's difficulties at least for a moment. People are always able to lie back and relax as they take in their surroundings or have a good laugh at the people being engulfed by seagulls after feeding them. Navarre beach is indeed an astonishing place and worth a visit.
