Introduction
The entire system of management, production, and governance is being transformed and driven by significant inventions and developments in computing. Even though the forecasts being made are not getting the right timing, they achieved the right technology. According to Martin (2017), the world should care about the future life of computing as it is critically going to impact our all-day-long lives as computers are found everywhere including but not limited to our cars, our pockets, refrigerators and our thermostats. Therefore, this paper seeks to provide an analysis of the anticipated changes and the significant impacts on society.
Quantum computing; is the most significant achievement anticipated due to the introduction of physics in the field of computer science (Gilbert & Doran, 2018). They are typical computers that apply a series of ones and zeros to communicate information. As compared to today's computers or traditional computers, quantum computers are characterized by quantum bits that enable the carriage of information. The state of existence of these bits allows quantum computers to process more challenging and complex datasets efficiently as compared to traditional or current computers. According to Slavin and Schoech (2017), society is going to benefit from machine-learning breakthroughs from the development of these computers relieve societal computer analysists load-boats of problems resulting from continuous unresolved data warehouse challenges.
In the biological field, Nano-computing is also expected to cause significant changes to society more so in the health sector. These microcomputer systems represent and manipulate data utilizing the transistors with a below channel of 100 nanometers in length (Gilbert & Doran, 2018). Fastened problem solving has been influenced by DNA Nano-computing, which explores the various potential solutions simultaneously. If one can imagine how efficient it could be for an individual to swallow a computer in a pill-like form, and then learn of the illness and affecting oneself and the set about curing the disease. According to Slavin and Schoech (2017), the programmed DNA switch inhibits or produces protein allowing for the development of biological functions responsible for the computation of disease diagnostics.
Various sectors are expected to change, and blurred lines established between the industrial sector due to machine learning and 3D-printing merge together (Gilbert & Doran, 2018). The automation and Artificial Intelligence are expected to turn brands into automation the next decades for the betterment of services to customers and reduce costs. Among the major key areas to be polished are the Big-box retailers who use automated warehouses in shipping and sorting of products, the moderated comments of social media, and credit card companies that are automated to ease fraud detections.
Since computers have been termed as a staunch resource to everyone or every sector, the transport sector has recorded and still expected to record several changes in the future. Driverless vehicles from the rising and rapidly evolving self-driving technology is argued to help cut costs on the hiring of personnel, time and reduce accidents due to the automation of the vehicle with the traffic rules. Among the companies who have announced these more significant inventions are; Volvo, Tesla, and General Motors; for instance, General Motors was successful in launching a no-steering wheel car in 2019. Moreover, Uber jointly works with NASA in leading fights on launching of a pilotless flying vehicle (Martin, 2017). Explorations into space are expected to be more effective due to the utilization of computing knowledge on developing reusable rockets capable of shipping thousands of pounds of equipment into space Martin (, 2017).
Conclusion
For society to realize these benefits, significant inventions should be encouraged and support is provided from both government agencies and private sectors. As these future changes are expected to take place and a shaken society being on the stand; it should, however, be denoted that, the relationship among people, technology, social bonds, and social infrastructure should be valued so that we remain on a stand of understanding the values making us human.
