Social behavior is the interaction between individuals or organisms of the same class, usually influenced by their environment or the kind of friends they keep (Johnson et al., 2016). Also, the behavior of an individual influences other people's undertakings and, as a result, can lead to total turnaround on how they do their things. Many factors influence how people behave, and some of these are level of education, upbringing, environment, happenings, and so on (Johnson et al., 2016). Bad Behavior

The title of the video that I have watched is “Bad Behavior (Parenting Documentary).” The video takes 49.40 minutes. This video attracted me because it depicts a family setting and how one’s behavior affects another person (Dailymotion, 2017). The bad parenting video is derived from a family's real-life story comprising of the father, Fred, the mother, Diana, and their little daughter Georgina She proves to be extremely stubborn and displays funny behaviors. Additionally, due to her character, she has transferred to several schools because she cannot cope with the other students (Dailymotion, 2017). Furthermore, this is a worrying trend for the parents, and they have sort the intervention of professionals to help instill good behavior in their daughter, which is bearing fruit (Dailymotion, 2017).

In this story, the little girl, Georgina, displays several unusual characteristics such as shouting at the parents, throwing things around the house, not being thankful, and beating other people (Dailymotion, 2017). Also, the mother reacts by doing bad things to her and shouting at her. Furthermore, the video gives a perfect picture of how social behavior is affected by one's surroundings and the happenings at any given moment (Dailymotion, 2017). Below are the illustrations of some of the unusual behavior identified, the triggers, and some of the ways of addressing such (Johnson et al., 2016).

Throwing Things Around the House

Georgina does this on many occasions in the video. It is a way she uses to express herself to the parents. When both the father and the mother talk to her instead of responding well and showing some respect, which is the conventional way of responding to older people, she reacts by doing the unthinkable (Dailymotion, 2017). Further, the mother also reacts by doing the same to her, and this does not help in addressing the situation but instead escalates it. Children should have a lot of respect for their parents, and when corrected, they should not talk back but trust them. Conversely, it is evident that Georgina's behavior is a result of her improper upbringing, and this shows how much she has been affected by the people around her (Dailymotion, 2017).

Not Being Thankful

There are so many instances where the father did good things to the daughter and ought to have been thankful. But instead, Georgina responds by making noise (Dailymotion, 2017). For instance, he covers her so well on her bed and tells her goodnight she responds awkwardly by shouting incoherently. The behavior is absurd and not the conventional way of doing things (Ziv et al., 2018). Another scenario is when the father gives her some coins; Georgina does not say a thank you. The altercations that she has always had with the mothers vividly manifest in her behavior, thus giving evidence that the people around someone can have an impact on the way they interact with others socially (Ziv et al., 2018). Georgina is such a little girl, and her behavior can be attributed to how the parents brought her up. Otherwise, if the mother had time for her and treated her well, then she would behave differently.

Bad social behavior can have adverse effects on people in their entire life. That is why Georgina's father is distraught and devising options that can lead to behavioral in her daughter before it is late (Johnson et al., 2016). Additionally, this action portrays the father as concerned and wants to equip her with good morals for her interaction with other people. Some of the adverse effects of unethical social behavior include depression, hypertension, and in extreme cases, suicide (Ziv et al., 2018). Additionally, one risks alienation from society and friends (Ziv et al., 2018). Due to bad behavior, so many people would not want to associate with her. It may even hamper Georgina's chances of getting employment in the future, which can be detrimental in her well-being (Ziv et al., 2018). Therefore it is crucial to be aware of the surroundings and choose which elements to pick for better behavioral developments.

Conclusion

Social behaviors are an essential aspect of life, and a lot of effort should be put to identify and address the different untamed actions. Humans are relational beings, and everyone should strive to interact with others well; otherwise, they stand isolated thus may experience difficulty in life. Furthermore, the people one interacts with form a vital core of their character developments; therefore, one should carefully choose their circles to develop good morals. For instance, a family in which the parents take alcohol or violent fathers their children may exhibit the same behaviors because this is what they see and interact with daily. However, through education and exposure, one can develop a behavioral change with time and become a better person. Also, something that is vital in changing social behavior to identify the best way of addressing the problems. Like in the video, the mother reciprocated the same performance as that of the little girl, but this did not work, but when the parents changed tactics, the girl gradually changed her character.
