The dance can be considered as one that reflects the traditional hip-hop one as it entails boogaloo, breaking, popping, and locking whereas integrating with other styles to progress to art form. The background lightening was blue and the color of the stage becomes brighter. The areas other than where the dancers performed had dark sides of lightening. Music tempo grew faster and stronger and the dancers had stronger movements. The majority of the movements was very edgy, sharp, and angled particularly their arms. They represented the art form of the urban culture. The Sound and lightening develop the environment and good mood.

Hip-hop dance was the genre of the dance. The style of the dance was regarded as cohesive because it discovers a cogent voice in the theatre. The intention of Rennie Harris as the choreographer was preaching the pathos of urban life. The dance is narrative in nature because it tends to narrate the journey of urban pure art form. Harris chose to enable the medium of movement to be the message.

There were a few musical elements that remain distinguishable throughout the event. The score agitated for alto, soprano, bass, and tenor soloists and mixed chorus and an orchestra entailing two flutes and piccolo, two clarinets, two oboes, four horns, three trombones, cymbals, bass drum, triangle, and strings. The 'Ode to Joy' melody can be classified as classical music. The symphony started with pure suspense and atmosphere whereby the composer obscures and teases with the fundamental elements of rhythm, tonality, and melody. At open fifth, the mysterious music interval recommends A minor or major. The pulse sounds like a rhythm that is less to tremolo though it is denoted as sextolets that are hovering between triple and duple meter. Scherzo, the second movement, integrates the nervous tension and delightful outbursts. Even though overwhelmed by others, it starts with a surprising innovation of tuned drums being used as a melodic solo and enforcement of rhythms (Chicago Symphony Orchestra, 2015).

The audience was quite passive that is the only true fact. At the beginning and the end of the concert, the crowd stood up, clipped their hands and applauded the Chicago symphony orchestra. It is symphony that lasted for 1 hour and 20 minutes and the audience never clipped their hands except at the end.

Conclusion

In general, the performance was not captivating judging from the eyes of the audience. The audience did not show positive response at any moment and just clapped at the end because it is just like a rule in classical music to clap after the end of the event. Even though the orchestra performed at their best, the audience did not find it lovely. The audience conveyed their response by engaging in other activities including eating. It was such a horrible show for the people who attended the symphony of the late Beethoven. Even though I am a fan of events, I am sure that I would not be willing to attend another show if this one I knew such a show would be held somewhere. The people did not enjoy the music at any moment of the event. Despite the poor show, there were no individuals who left the show.
