Introduction
Concerning the book titled on the power of imagination, it comes out that it was written by Michael De Montaigne who came from a business trading background, studied smartly, and subsequently became a member of parliament. It can thus be seen that he was in a position to well expound on his worldview regarding human imaginations and the incredible prosperity it can bring about for anyone who well utilizes it. He was able to cultivate positive imaginations and rose out of his humble beginnings to be a more successful person. The author Michael in his book cites that he is among the individuals who are most affected by the imaginations. He goes farther to affirm the fact that most other people are largely influenced by imaginations. He was regarded as a widely learned scholar of the time, and his view of the natural phenomena is thus indisputable. In a real sense, imaginations can adversely affect human beings, and it is wise to look for ways of safely dealing with them in the run-up to mitigation of their effects. He cites evading them, which is the best option. Imaginations can be evaded through the adoption of such strategies as active socialization land interaction with people. One will be brought to the real world of sharing experiences with other people, which replace imaginations brought about by isolation and idleness. Additionally, imaginations can be avoided by exercising physically, activating the mind which will then keep imaginations at bay.
Furthermore, Michael argues that imagination can adversely affect one if encouraged to reign. Such is true since one's point of view on anything brings about side effects, hence the need to be watchful on the imagining patterns by the people because they are consequential. He thus advised on the need to always focus on positive thinking to bring forth refined spirit and liveliness of individuals, denoting the power of imagination. Also, Michael states that visions, miracles, enchantments, as well as much of the extraordinary occurrences, can derive their credit primarily from the power of imagination. It is indeed true to be so. The beliefs of most people are so strong, featured in imagination, such that such people tend to think that they see what is not there. It shows the powerful extent of imagination adoptable in some people.
Furthermore, Michael argued that one who has fallen in love with another person is equated to somebody who has been imprisoned. In this case, the imaginations of a person are so much captured by the appearance and beauty of the other party, making it difficult for the mind to forget. He cites that there is no way of recovering from the trouble of such nature. Others are the beloved kin who can powerfully reside in one's mind and slowly capture the imaginations more profoundly. There is also an element of one's passion is primarily affected by imagination. In this case, there are competing aims by a person, and there is that main objective of life, far much affected by one's imagination. He cites that when a person charges at something, it is corroborated by the imagination level, which in turn affects its directions and achievement stature. It is so firm as to powerfully resist any external force which can have noticed a loophole along the course.
