Data science has mainly developed significantly due to technological changes in the digital world. In today's society, data sciences has become an influential part driving organizational success. This is evident, as every organization has to ensure that its data is on point with the current technological development and industry trends. As organizations globally use data-driven analysis in every aspect of their business from logistics, travel sales, marketing, as well as a human resource. It is inevitable that there are future developments of data sciences which will rely on technology.

On an individual basis, I feel that in this age of technological evolution, I have a duty and responsibility to contribute and develop my career. This can only happen if I pursue data science. This is because it will ensure that I'm in a position to fully exploit my potential. I would like to contribute as a team member in a dynamic work environment focused on upholding growth and development. Thus, develop my skills in an institution such as Buffalo State University would be crucial in attaining my objective. The school offers both challenges as well as an opportunity for personal initiative, education, and career advancement, leading up to a position of responsibility because of giving service to society with remarkable performance.

On consideration of the development in technology, my undergraduate in Bachelor of Science in accounting has to be complemented with technical aspects of data sciences. In my personal experience, I have pursued internship programs in finance/IT systems with Harmac medical products. Through this internship program, I have interacted with cloud suite industrial systems that manage the disbursement of Accounts payable, invoice validation, and updating employee database. All through the operation and interaction with this system, I ensured that I maintained the highest level of data security.

I have also worked as a consultant supervisor within ITCS public sites at Buffalo State University. This department has enabled me to elevate my experience in the field of accounting, as I was engaged in the auditing of transactions under the coordination of my superior. In this department, I was also capable of testing newly installed windows program, scheduling consultancy programs while also maintaining accurate inventory records. Through the internship program, I was responsible for the management of 605 workstations, 30 printers and delivering supplies of Excel and Google Sheets.

My leadership experience relates to both my experiences as a student and through my internship programs. As a student, I was a member of Beta Alpha Zeta Theta Chapter a club at Buffalo University. I volunteered in more than 50 hours filling income tax for the less fortunate and low-income earners. I believe that my Managerial accounting and finance skills will enable me to succeed in the data science field. Lastly, I participated in Target Case competition offering student reward program, presenting a marketing strategy for a low-cost delivery system.I have been honored with numerous awards as a student at Buffalo State University in the following areas. In the category of business expansion and case solutions competition by PWC Challenge which is a student competition at Buffalo University. I was the top student with an exceptional business case analysis. In my second award, I won the first place in the Display Efforts, Aptitude and leadership (DEAL) Exposition with a reward for excellent research, poster presentation and obtaining most votes in two consecutive years.
