Abstract
USFilters is an innovative and visionary organization, committed to maximizing the sourcing and supply channel of water filters and components in drinking water for the residential and commercial line, for its customers through an ever-expanding presence in the market. It has a vision of bringing the highest quality and safest new and innovative products to the market; all products are researched, developed and outsourced in strong partnerships with manufacturers of high capacity and quality of technical standards. USFilter's is a member of water quality association, their products tested and approved as per NSF standard, with international laboratories such as SGS, BV for testing the functional product specifications, as independent international firms. This research centered on exploring the role of franchising in creating career opportunities for new dealers and employees through the case of USFILTERS in the Middle East and Jordan. The introductory chapter provides an in-depth understanding of the franchising concept and background of the company in the context to answer the research question. The second part involves a review of different research studies which has been done on the topic to support conclusions on the role of franchising in the context of the USFILTERS in the Middle East and Jordan. The research adopts a qualitative research design in the methodology chapter which offers in-depth understanding of the research issue. The research results acknowledges the positive role of franchise in supporting the business objectives of the company. Franchise business helps achieve business short-term and long-term business success such as maximizing the opportunities for USFilter in growth in all areas. The conclusion supports the notion that franchising has a positive role in creating career opportunities for new dealers and employees in US filters within the Middle East region. This research study recommends the continuation of the franchise agreement across USFilter's company as the basis for enhancing business performance within the company as well as within the franchise holders.
