Health and fitness have become an integral part of human life. It is because people are becoming aware of the adverse effects of living an unhealthy lifestyle. As an innovator, the Huawei Company has come up with a health and fitness application that helps in addressing this matter. Thus this paper is going to look at this innovation in detail and observe how the software helps to keep track of an individual's exercise regimen.
The app can be installed on various phones and is not limited to Huawei devices. The application helps consumers to check on their health and physical fitness. Besides, the app enables a user to monitor and gets information on their sleeping habits, eating habits, weight, calories, and heart rate.
Introduction
Huawei, an international phone manufacturing company, based in China, has rolled out the new fitness application called Huawei health (Use Huawei Health App to have an Active Lifestyle | Service Article | HUAWEI Support India, 2020). The software is meant explicitly for android phones like Samsung, Huawei, Infinix, however various devices can still use it. For instance, IOS and Windows phone users can use it. The software can be accessed either from the company's website, Google play store, and Apple application store.
The tracking of an individual's movement is the main focus of the application, as it is crucial in informing the step count. The app will help consumers to check on their health and physical fitness (Health app, 2014). The app enables a user to monitor and gets information on their sleeping habits, eating habits, weight, calories, and heart rate.
Unlike most fitness applications, Huawei health application is free and contains no advertisements. Sometimes advertisements can be annoying and obtrusive. Furthermore, with the advent of cookies, advertisements can be intrusive. The Huawei Health app has solved it as the user has the freedom to enjoy the product without any pop-ups.

For instance, a person can personalize the application. They can alter the theme or even the color of the application. Also, the application can be customized to the individual's taste. The feature saves time and allows the user to be more flexible. The Huawei Health app supports a total of fifty-two languages. The broad language base has given it the power to get consumers from different areas of the world. In the Apple application store, and it has a high rating compared to the google play store.
The app has a tab which is divided into several sections. There is an exercise tab, which is used to display all information relating to a person's physical activity. A person can choose either walk, run, or riding in this tab. Besides, a specific task can be added to this tab as long as it demands physical activity.
It should be noted that the application measures how far a person has traveled. There is also the health section, which is a combination of sleep and heart rate. In terms of the sleep section, it will inform the users how many how of either deep or light sleep they have each day. It is essential to determine whether a person has a good sleeping habit or not. The heart rate part informs the user if their heart rate is intense or light. Also, it will show the days that the heart rate was fast or slow.
The application has a rating of an average of 3.9 on Google play store. The highest rating it has received so far is about 4.9. These averages indicate that the application is satisfactory to most people. The rating system in Google ranges from one to five, and getting points above three is good. Informs the users of all the steps they make in their lives.
Though it offers beautiful things, this application has several downsides to it. Firstly, the application is tremendous in size in IOS devices compared to android devices. It is nearly 171.9 MB. Secondly, the application has in-app purchases, which is the only way a person can get access to the premium features of the application.
The rationale behind this application is straightforward. Firstly, due to the rise of lifestyle disease and weight loss issues in the world, there has been a need for an effective solution (Health app, 2014). Thus technology has come to humanity's aid and created several health and fitness apps, which help people keep fit.
Currently, there are very many health apps with different features and functions (Health app, 2014). Huawei also decided to taste the waters with their products as no application satisfied the customer. It was the opening of the Huawei health app to take over the market. The selling point of the company is that the product is straightforward and can be used by various persons.
Health and fitness enthusiasts or amateurs will find it very comfortable. The company ensured that its product helps a person stay fit in various ways. Firstly, it monitors a user's workout regime. The Huawei Health app collects information like calorie intake, distance traveled, and workout routines. The application evaluates this information and gives the user analysis and recommendations on areas in which areas to improve.
Secondly, the application offers a user a new workout routine. Various workout regimes are being created daily. The app will select the best routine and recommend it to the user if it fits their program. Thirdly, the application monitors the diet of the user and evaluates their nutrients deficiency and recommends areas to improve on. Besides, if a person has poor eating habits or is eating the wrong type of foods, it will recommend the right foods to consume.
Lastly, the app helps users to attain their health and fitness goals. Users achieve this by using the exercise diary feature in the app. The feature allows a person to keep track of all their workouts and see if they help in progressing towards the goal. If they are ineffective, they can alter to ensure that they help a user in attaining their health and fitness goal.

In conclusion, the Huawei health fitness application provides many benefits to the user. An individual can be able to keep track of their daily exercise activities. The individual has the power to evaluate, which exercise is useful and which one is not. All of these have been made possible by the many features the application which has revolutionized working out.
