Introduction
The work will need an average number of nine soldiers who are selected from various departments to help in completing specific roles. By measuring the strengths and personalities of the workers, I would be able to decide on which person does a given task and so forth (Johnston, 2019). In this case, I will begin by choosing people like the action person, a consensus holder, one contrarian, and worker bee to build my team effectively.
The action person would assist by setting goals for the team, and making to-do lists, to ensure that an organization operates within a specific framework or range of activities. Next will be a consensus holder, whose role would be to make an imperative summary based on people's ideas and opinions. In other words, he/she must ensure that every view within the teamwork counts. Besides, I would need a contrarian, to ensure that any errors in judgment or decision-making processes are identified, and quickly reviewed, to prevent any occurrence of errors afterward (Johnson, 2019). Finally, the team should consist of other non-leaders whose role is specifically to deliver using the guidelines. The worker bees usually perform the tasks in questions to provide the team's goals and objectives.
Team Barriers
A team may be faced by various barriers such as miscommunication, which can perhaps be triggered when members in a group have diverging opinions and ideas about the delegated roles. Some team members may also decide to concentrate more on their issues and neglect the tasks that they are assigned.
Time to Activate Alternates, and Pull Primary Team Members
There are two significant scenarios when this is important. First, when the primary team member is concentrated in solving other individual issues, that possibly hampers with his/her ability to perform the team assignment. Secondly, is when the primary team member fails to be active and turns out to be a sleeping partner in the team. This means that he/she may not be delivered at all.
Causes of Conflict
As stated earlier, inactivity is one of the critical causes of conflict. Besides, a conflict may arise suppose team members have different views and opinions, which may cause disagreements.
Steps of Reducing the Conflict
To solve these conflicts, a team should first begin by embracing the conflicts by admitting that it is there. This will reduce the tension, and allow members to agree on the ways to address the problem mutually. Avoiding conflict is one of the primary triggers and could probably lead to the team's failure (Kappel, n.d). After its recognition, members can openly discuss and recommend way forwards that aim at rectifying the causes which caused that conflict.
