A customer was in dire need of painkillers since he had cancer, since the warehouse we had stocked some, I had to help him even though it was not my call to make. I quickly opened the pills and helped him ease the pain-reducing the rate at which he was suffering. After a while, he was able to pick the items that he was buying from the warehouse.

Setting a goal at times can prove challenging; improving my technical skills was my goal. I had to sideline on enrolling with a training institute on few hours that I was not busy at work. Multitasking was quite hectic, but since I had to learn more skills submitting was a key to achieving my target, which is a month I had gained experience.

In the distribution sector, the processing of orders to customers plays a crucial role in achieving a smooth and effective running process. To make him effective, I had to encourage him daily, which yielded results in reducing the time spent on the delivery of the goods to customers.

Surplus supply by the businessmen who need all their goods to be stored in the warehouse can prove challenging at times due to limited space. To accommodate all the products from the business people, we had to set high standards of goods to be stored, thus reducing the long queues and satisfy all our customers by upgrading their products to be stored.
Tell me about a time you didn't have enough resources to do something you felt was important but found a creative way to get it done anyway. What drove you to seek out creative solutions?
Consistent working without rest makes people slow down due to boredom and tiredness; I noted that as workers due to large shipments and few people, the manager could not stand operations coming to hold. I decided to talk to him to divide workers in shifts as people would rest, and there could be a smooth workflow, which after a week's trial, seemed to work.
Tell me about a time you strongly disagreed with your manager in something you deemed to be very important to the business, What was it about and how did you handle it ?Working as a subordinate at times, airing your views on matters of waste disposal to the environment brings misunderstanding, affecting the surroundings. My goal is to minimize waste disposal. I suggested recycling and treating the waste before releasing it, where the manager agreed with me. In stipulating my ideas, he finally came around and offered to help me in putting my thoughts into action.

The wage and salary to workers was very minimal compared to the profits the business was making; I aimed to increase the wages by at least 5%; thus i decide to have a go-slow together with fellow core workers and try air out our opinions. The finance department, after a lengthy talk, concluded to increase the salary at 6% and retain all workers.
Give me an example of when you saw a peer struggling and decided to step in and help. What was the situation and what actions did you take? What was the outcome?
A peer was having an underlying condition and still wanted to work to pay for her bills after I noted her struggles. I decided to at least cover her medical cover for at least a year to reduce the cost of treatment. At first, it was quite challenging since I had other responsibilities, but it was of much help to her, and I noted an improvement in her health-wise and mentally.
Tell me about a time you took a big risk -What was the risk, how did you decide to do it and what was the outcome?
Increasing production by 10% seemed way too high, but I had to try and see the outcome; my goal was to increase profits simultaneously. Sourcing out more raw materials from the manager was the only solution, but luckily he was ready to dispose of them; this required extending working hours by workers. After a year, the business reported a 20% increase in profit, and production was at its pitch, satisfying all our esteemed customers.
Tell me about a time where someone has openly challenged you. How did you handle this feedback?
At an annual meeting, the managing director cited that the distribution sector seemed to be moving goods slowly and needed more supervision to make workers more productive; this happened to be my area of surveillance. I felt less motivated and did not see reasons for extra monitoring, thus I decide to talk to the manager, promising to work on my sector and improve on the distribution. Though it did not feel good, I had to lower my eagle and avoid confrontations, improvised technics to fasten the distribution chain, which reduced the time spent on moving goods.
